A helpfull substitute battery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop had its battery off with just two years of use. So, I`m glad to have find another one for changing. For this poit of view its ok, as without another one my laptop would never be used agai. However, the new battery seems to have a short life as I realize that it goes down easily.

terribly disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised to only get about 2 hours of use from this fully charged brand new laptop battery. I expected more; don't know if it's the Lexmar brand that's inferior or if replacement batteries as a whole just don't offer much usage. If I ever have to buy another, I think I'll try the HP brand since that's the maker of my laptop.

Just an OK Replacement Battery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When we purchased this battery our old laptop battery would not hold a charge at all, so anything longer than 1 minute is an improvement. However, I was under the impression that this new battery would last at least 3 hours. That is not true. The battery lasts probably about an hour, maybe 1 1/2 hours depending upon what you are doing. This was very disappointing given the amount of money spent. An improvement to what I had but the fact I still have to keep plugging it in means it will die soon. This was a waste of money for us. The battery did not come with an instrucion booklet as stated and no where on the package did it say how long you should charge it for when you first charge it. That is needed information.

Great battery replacement for HP Pavilion dv2700
