    I bought this battery to replace my Sony Vaio laptop battery that was only 8 months old. I wanted a backup. This battery came with a bio CD to install and it was not compatible with my newer laptop. I had to return it. Still waiting for my reward zone points 30+ days later. I am told it can take 6 weeks for this, never had that happen either.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
