This laptop is a good bang for your buck. I recommend it for a student.

This is one of the best laptops that I’ve had and I’ve been through about five different brands of laptops(HP&now Leenovo are my two favorites). This laptop is light (weight wise) it’s quick when it’s processing and surfing the web,it is discreet and easy to store and carry in my backpack—and I am going into my senior year of college at Humboldt State University.Long as you have a guaranteed virus protector there will be no problems at all.

What do you expect at this price point? It comes with a surprisingly powerful processor, just enough RAM, and a slow hard drive. I replaced the hard drive (with help from Youtube) and it's awesome for everyday computing, watching videos, etc.

Bought for my kids and it has everything they need in a computer.

Compact, fast, efficient tool for my daily uses. When I don't want to turn on the desktop this is perfect.

I purchased this laptop for my sister-in-law. She is not at all comfortable with computers or technology in general and really needed something that would not overwhelm her yet would last at least 4 years. That part I cannot speak to but she loves the laptop and I set it up for her and that went well. The keyboard is comfortable and the weight is super. She loves it so what can I say. If you are looking for a high end laptop with lots of bells and whistles you will not want to buy this one but I am sure this is a good machine for the non-techies who just need a good sold laptop for email, web-surfing, and playing card games/

This chrome books is great for my first grade students to use. They know how to turn it on, go to their approved sites and begin working without aid from me. It is wonderful!!

I love this computer the only complaint I have about it is the battery dies pretty quickly but the brightness the slickness the weight everything else it is a great computer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone

Every thing works like I thought it would. Lots of memory and a big screen and runs pretty fast

Bought this to have an inexpensive laptop to take to the beach. Only used for about a week per month when I go there so I didn't want to spend a lot money. Needed a large screen due to occaisional vision issues. This thing is certainly slower than the iMACs I have at home but I knew that going in. For the price, very happy with this purchase 18 months into it. Exactly what I wanted.

Bought this for myself as I have a small business I needed something that wasn't being used by children and this has been a great computer so far no problems..

The Lenovo laptop meets my expectations, its very light and easy to handle and understand, its just so practical and none complicated, the screen is just amazing I'm very pleased with my equipment.

This laptop is fast enough to do what we need to do surfing the internet and checking email. The only issue is the relatively short battery life, and the strange placement of the right shift key.

I bought this as a gift for someone and they love it. Mainly used for basic web browsing such as emails YouTube ect. Not good for gaming and not the fastest but can beat it at the price I paid.

I bought one for my son and one for myself. Both have functined great since we got them. I use it mainly for spreadsheets, word processing and searching the web. have not had any issues yet.

I bought another brand of computer that was just a dud. Scott and Drew assured me that even though my 30 days had elapsed, they would make sure I was satisfied with my Best Buy experience. I am. Scott confirmed there was something wrong with the previous computer and suggested the Lenovo. Everything was transferred without charge. So far, it's doing the job just fine. Thanks guys!

We picked this up off the sale table of returns that come with full warranties. It was severely marked down and I immediately tucked it under my arm as I looked at other devices. The specs make it worth the money at regular price, and on sale it was a crazy good value. Fast, massive storage, crisp display and that silky perfect keyboard Thinkpads are known for.

Me and my mother are both computer novices. We went to Best Buy looking for a laptop in the $300 dollar range that was user friendly and not as slow as a snail. They recommended the Lenovo ideapad 100 and after using it for a month i can officially say that its been exactly what we had hoped. Not only was it on sale but they had one that was new but had been returned dropping the price another 40 dollars. The staff was knowledgable,friendly and since they do not work on commission, not pressuring us into buying something more expensive. I highly recommend them for your first or next computer. Thank you Best Buy for a job well done.
