Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the price, gaming capabilities, performance, ease of use, RAM, processor, and lightweight design of the 15.6" Laptop - AMD A8-Series - 6GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive. They appreciate that it is a good deal for the price and offers great performance for everyday tasks and gaming. However, customers are negative about the battery life, keyboard, Windows 8 operating system, and bloatware. They find the battery life to be poor and the keyboard inconvenient, and they dislike the Windows 8 operating system and the amount of bloatware that comes pre-installed on the laptop.

Nice for the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop works well for email and general work. You will need a power supply handy because the battery is pretty short lived. I am not a fan of the operating system (Windows8), but it gets the job done (eventually). It is a big downgrade from XP.

Affordable laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am pleased with my purchase! It is an affordable and decent laptop that was rather easy to set up and is pretty easy to use. Just what I was looking for, but will mention I am not as impressed with the ease of the touchpad as I would have liked.

good computer for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer works well for a low priced model. I'm not crazy about windows 8. Some issues with Internet Explorer. I don't know to use IE or apps for Facebook and other internet sites as IE crashes on here sometimes. Don't know why. Other than that my other programs run well and processor is pretty fast.

Good inexpensive low-end laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good inexpensive low-end laptop. I purchased this laptop to allow my wife to login to VPN to her employers network as well as perform basic functions such as web surfing, TV viewing, email and MS Office. The laptop is fine for VPN, web surfing and TV viewing. Although I have not used MS office, I do not anticipate a problem with that or email. The only issue I have encountered is an occasional mouse response delay which I suspect is caused by other running processes using too much system resources. If I am patient and wait a few seconds, the delay disappears.

Solid Lappy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing flashy but it does everything I need it to do. Keep your charger handy because the battery life blows goats for quarters. That's to be expected in a lappy at this price point. My only complaint was Windows 8 but that's been fixed thanks to Microsoft releasing Windows 10 for free.

Good after you remove crapware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a deal of the day for $250. Good price, but was sluggish until I removed all of Lenovo's "helpful" programs. Now it runs like a champ!

Excelent Laptop for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this as a gift for my mother, it works great..The computer is fast, a little heavy but within reason, it has a cd/dvd w/r/ witch is rare. Fast computer and run quiet. I love it. It is easy to use.

Best for the price on the market.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great laptop. I had looked at many others in it's class and found this one to be sturdy and fast. I was upset how windows 8 laptops have less processing power but this computer doesn't skimp out. The only problem I have found is the accu type keyboard makes it difficult to type fast, or program code. There are ways to turn this off though. Overall a great buy from bestbuy.

Excellent once you update to Windows 10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for $299, which was about the best price per spec I could find. Had a 10% coupon so I ended up getting it for $286. I watch the deal of the day religiously; of course the next week it was on there for $249. Luckily I know they have their price match for up to 30 days, so I got it for that price plus they reused my 10% on that price was so I got it for $225 before tax. So absolutely no complaints here, especially once I got rid Windows 8 and went to the much more familiar feeling of Windows 10.

Great laptop for basic "school stuff"

Great for basic use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this laptop. It works well for my purposes, such as internet use, writing papers with MS Word, and I play some Steam games on here too, played Minecraft once. Got 30 fps on Minecraft, so not too bad. The other games I play look pretty great, although they aren't anything heavy. I would give this laptop a 5, however I don't like the keyboard. It takes some power to get it to respond, you have to push it all the way down and the track pad can be a little slow. The only other issue is the build. The screen is pretty easily bent which isn't that good. I would recommend this if you didn't have an extra $200 to spend on something for like $500 or so. I would say to get this over a $400 machine however because there won't be too much of a difference at $100. This one is excellent for its price.

Great Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is excellent choice. At the price of a budget laptop, this computer is very fast and responsive. It outperforms other laptops costing more. Also this computer is very thin and lightweight with a full size 15.5" screen.

Great Laptop for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While you shouldn't expect solid build quality on a laptop like this, it is worth the price. The mousepad is not as responsive as in other more expensive computers but it is still way better than a samsung chromebook for sure.

Great Laptop,
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my fiancée because she was in for a new laptop. However nether of us hardly understand how windows 8 works, but so far she getting the hang of it. Other then that the performance from the laptop is amazing, and powerful using programs, like Adobe products.

Respectable performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a replacement for my wife's dead, 5- year-old laptop. AMD quad core better than Intel dual core at this price range. Machine used mainly for web surfing and watching video - zero issues with performance.

LOVING my new Lenovo Laptop...BUT!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product for the price and I do love the feel. A few cons: 1) I have had 3 blue screens in 6weeks and 1 graphic/driver error that caused some issues. 2) Haven't been able to set up my wireless/bluetooth mobile printer that I use when traveling for work after multiple installs/reinstalls of the vendor provided drivers. 3) still not liking Windows 8 as lots of things I used often are either missing OR done differently (more steps required, etc.). 4) Don't like Nitro as I have/own full blown version of Acrobat (not sure yet how to get rid of it without causing problems. Otherwise, all is well.

Great basic laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop performs really well for most tasks. Web Browsing, Office tasks (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), light gaming (older games or indie games). The battery life isn't great, but is serviceable in this price range. The stock HDD is slow and will cripple the system (this is true for any slow mechanical hard drive). I put a 120GB SSD I had laying around and now everything is smooth as butter. Boots in a few seconds, applications open and close instantly, just a really great experience.

Good value laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a sleek laptop backed with good performance. The RAM of 6 GB alongwith hard disk of 500 GB makes it at par with other laptops and coupled with its price makes it a value buy. Overall very good!
