This Lenovo laptop is fast, lightweight, & has all the necessary software for everyday use.

i bought this laptop May of 2015 and have had it roughly three months, and can give a 100% honest review of it. if you are a gamer, or just like to play games at ultra graphics mode, this isn't the greatest choice for you. But for budget laptop, that has a HDMI and VGA port to hook up a second monitor to, a decent monitor size when using it by it's self. it can be a good choice. you're gonna get about 30 frames normally even with the graphics settings turned down all the way to low and with mainly no big programs running in the background , cs:go is somewhere around 25-30, Garry's mod is about 20-25 depending on the server and stuff in there. Some games that are easy to run are skyrim 30-50 frames and world at war 40-60 frames if you're into modding with the zombies and such. For some one that is just getting into PC gaming, like i was when i purchased this laptop, you might have trouble playing with some of your friends that have higher end gaming PC's, but with most games you should be fine if there isn't a lot of particles- oh another thing, particles are one of the many things that will kill your frame rate in games, like dust coming up from the ground. Be sure to turn the particle setting down when starting a new game. to wrap it up, its a decent laptop to start off with, but if you want a mobile gaming rig, save a little more money and search up a bit more, because in the long run, you'll thank yourself. tell me if this helped you because this is my first review about an electronic!

Bought this laptop for my son who plays Poker online, he seems to be very pleased with it, he hasn't stop playing since he got it. He chose this model. Great performance for the price!!!

I love this laptop. I got it on sale for $250, and it was an excellent decision. I don't do anything major on it, I got it for schoolwork. It runs well, and I haven't had any issues at all. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone

I wanted to get my wife a nice laptop for our anniversary, but didn't want to spend a fortune. This Lenovo scored high in the reviews and even higher with my wife. The Geek Squad set it up beautifully and transferred all of her data from the old computer flawlessly.

I like this computer. It seems a little slow, that could just be windows 8. I am starting to get used to the windows 8 format, not as bad as I expected. Seems like a good computer so far. One thing I don't like about the operating system is a lot that you download such as card games because so far I cannot find where they are located if they are in here is you would have to download an app. Well with android apps you have to agree to let them basically have access to every aspect of your system. I do t like that about cell phones and I especially do not like that capability for some app owner to have access to my contacts, my camera, my photos etc, in my main computer system where very personal and private information is stored. So that is a drawback for me, but downloading apps is options, but you may not be able to have certain things you are used to having with the windows operating system, also windows 8 comes with a ton of stuff and takes up a lot of hard drive space/memory be aware of this when you decide how much of this feature to get. Graphics are very nice and screen resolution is quite nice.

Got this laptop from best buy, good price good laptop for the price, I would give it 4/5 just because it could be better but I guess that's why there is a difference between a $1000 and $300 product, but not bad I think just the anti virus is slowing it down.

The computer is fast and relatively easy to use. Windows 8 is not my thing though

Very pleased with the laptop. Excellent specs for the price. Could not find anything under $300 with more than 4Gb of RAM. Well built.

I upgraded ram to 8gb, and with Windows 10 this machine runs like a dream. Was able to play the Dying Light demo off of Steam at 20 fps on medium-low settings. I can have 10+ tabs open in Chrome with HD videos playing and have no slow down. With it including an hdmi out and Bluetooth support, this is a fantastic laptop. The Dolby speakers are loud and crisp. I can get about 5 hours of Netflix streaming with medium sound and 25% brightness, a couple more hours if I mess with settings to improve battery life.

Good value for the price. Wish it was lighter and came in a variety of colors.

It runs most programs very smoothly, Hard drive speed is a little slow, but that doesn't cause me any problems. Can play games on it smoothly and Office software runs smoothly.

This purchase was great I'm happy with my new Laptop. It is fast, dependable and great in having multiple apps open. The design is sleek and light the screen looks bright and clear. You won't regret buying it!!! Just add 16GB OF RAM N 1TB of hard drive space and it would fly so fast !!!! I'm a very picky person when it come to computers... So yes I approve this PC !!!!

Speed, graphics and prices are well coordinated on this model. But you have to clean up the imbedded Lenovo super fish that sends your personal data to Lenovo headquarters in Chine. Make sure you before you start using this PC.

I'm a "low power" user. I primarily needed this do a lot of word processing, spreadsheets, and surf the net and this laptop has been great. Initially there were a few issues in that the wifi card driver needed to be updated - something learned through researching the issue on the net & the laptop is a bit heavy but for the price, you can't go wrong.

This is a great computer but only gave 4 stars because the battery life could be better.
