I wanted to get a new monitor to replace an older 22in Viewsonic I have had for 10 years. I wanted an IPS LED 27in monitor and I was deciding between this one and the AOC monitor Bestbuy sells for a little less money. I decided to go with this one because I compared both of them in the store and the Lenovo was way better built. It has a much more sturdy base then the AOC one, the AOC one seemed really flimsy and plasticky compared to this one. I also chose this one over the AOC because I thought the overall design looked way better. The picture quality is excellent. The only thing I don't like about this monitor which was also mentioned by another reviewer is that the monitor is not borderless like it shows in the online picture. The image does not go all the way to the edge like it shows in the picture, there is a quarter inch space in between the plastic and the picture. It doesn't really bother me but I could see how some people might find it misleading. See attached picture: All in all, it is a great monitor for the money and I would definitely recommend it!!!

This monitor is used for work purposes and the resolution is great. The size is good also.

Its great, just pricey. Would be a great buy if it was on sale.

Old 23" ACER monitor went out after 4 years. Went to replace it with larger monitor. Sales people pointed me to this Lenovo. The Lenovo was on sale and I picked it up today for $229.99. Screaming deal. Clarity of picture and detail is excellent. Set up was a snap. Base is solid and sturdy. Up and down tilt is easy and stays put. Picture may not be edge to edge, but when upgrading from a 23", you definitely notice the increase in field. Screen is not glossy. Frame is a glossy piano black, but not distracting. Stand is solid and a simple install. Foot print is solid, but does not stick forward of the screen as much as the oval base to my old monitor. V shaped footprint sticks 2 1/4" forward of the screen and 3 1/2 " behind the screen rear housing. Base sticks up 1/2" from desk. Keyboard can be placed easily on top of the two feet sticking forward. Very well packaged. My Best Buy sales people were knowledgeable and very helpful with product selection.

The monitor claims to be “borderless” which I knew that was not the case. However, I did expect the picture to go all the way to the edge; it does not. The image stops 1/4” short of the bezel making the screen border 5/8” not “borderless.” The description mildly misrepresents the product but the overall value is excellent. I use it for AutoCAD and would highly recommend it.
