I've always been an IBM fan - they just changed the name to Lenovo. I did have big problems with the Thinkpad I purchased before this one, but no problems with this unit yet. Doesn't have a touch screen though. Lenovo does seem to have lowered their quality standards. They were the best, but this was a good purchase for the money

I bought this computer for my mother, who had many hand me down computers for the last ten years. Its a quite fast machine, with space for an extra stick of RAM, which really made this computer a powerful machine. If you have a recent computer with a better processor though, this may be a downgrade for some/

Our daughter moved back home and was sharing time on my wife's computer. Both are heavy users so a new computer was the best solution. The 17" screen was more of a want than a need. She had to transition from 8.1 to 10 but made the leap without too many problems. She is very happy with this computer.

This computer was purchased as an open box item. Luckily, Geek Squad was also purchased because I had problems with it after a few weeks. They fixed what was wrong, were very thorough in their explanations to me, and got it fixed fast.

I purchased this computer to use as my home computer instead of going with a standard desktop and I am not regretting the decision yet. This computer is easy to use and has taught me a few things, it is sturdy and it's extra features like the webcam, voice activation and search etc. are a super plus.

This laptop was inexpensive and will be used as a second laptop. Very simple to setup. Normally I do very little downloading and saving, mostly visiting my favorite sites and surfing.

I bought this for my wife and she has been using it for work for a few weeks. Her only complaint is that it TOO big. Not too heavy or anything, just that it eats up table space. Otherwise, she very much enjoys it. I'll be upgrading the memory this weekend and expect it to really scream afterwards.

The blue screen issue happened to me as well, but it was resolved rather easily. Just needed a simple secondary large screen laptop for work at home, but definitely won't get this big if I were to bring it around. It's bulky and there are not many laptop bags available for this size.

Bought this for my mom. It gets the basic tasks done and I figured for an older user it made more sense to spend on the 17" screen than a faster processor. The performance is nothing to get excited about, but it is good enough.

5 stars because you get a lot of bang for your buck. This is a pretty sturdy item and yet not overly heavy. A good basic machine for low price.
