The only remedy I have found that frees it is to shut it down with the power button and start over. This has happened 3 times already and I only use my computer once a week.

The keyboard quits working whenever I log out and other random times. I have to unplug and plug it back in. I haven't installed any apps or software, this is how it's was out the box.
