Of all the smart assistants that I have tested, by far this one is the best. The design is actually very well thought out, and the display is amazing. It works well with our nest products, and the sound is very good considering the size of the speakers. By far it is much nicer than any of the Amazon alexa products, and seems to work better also. The only app that works in portrate mode right now is google duo, and since my family was already using it, it was no big deal to get it going. I think now I will put these in all of our rooms to use as a home videoconferencing tool, as well as a fun infotainment center. I rarely feel that expensive electronics are worth the money, but this product has real value, and I hope that Lenovo continues to support it and they make it even better.

The Lenovo Google Smart Display 8 inch is great for the price. I got it half off on black friday for 100 dollars. Display is just the right size and almost half the price of the Alexa show that was on sale for $180. I bought 2 lenovo and they are easy to set up and operate. One of my better purchases this year!

I live this more than the Nest Hub I have. Even with the same size screen, it seems bigger. The speakers are so much louder and clearer. It runs the same software but does not lag or need to be constantly rebooted like my Google Hub. Did I mention this is less expensive than the Google Hub as well? Awesome devices, I ordered 2 more.

Easy set-up, shows photos while not in use. Used a few times for video chat via Google Duo and works great. Speaker is much better on the Lenovo than the Google Hub, and the 10" screen is much better than the 7" of the Google. We had both side by side and for a kitchen or other area would choose the Lenovo 10" every time. Not a huge loss of counter space to us in a medium sized kitchen.

This is a gorgeous 10 inch display, With all the functionality that the Google displays have. When I want to see what’s occurring in my front yard I simply ask Google to display the front yard. With a 10 inch screen I can see very clearly what’s happening. The sound is excellent and this is definite product that would enhance anyone’s life.

Some say to big for an alarm clock but I think it’s perfect. I got it solely for a smart alarm clock and love it. Speaker is decent picture is amazing and love the fact I can watch tv on it and walk in my room and just say I’m home and have my lights cut on. Wish it was a little more responsive to touch and sometimes a little slow but still happy with my purchase.

I got this to use with my mom for video chatting. My only regret is that I only got 2 when they were running that half off deal on Best Buy. It's large enough. I also wish I could run Netflix on it. The way it streams music is a bit awkward and difficult to understand. I give it 5 stars because it really does have a beautiful display, nice speakers, and does the intended purpose well.

I thought I knew roughly what I'd be getting in a smart display, but I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations! The design of the product is pretty modern and classy - it doesn't look like techno-clutter sitting on a kitchen counter, it looks like it belongs there. The screen resolution is crisp and clear as is the sound. The ability to have it display a Google Photos album in an ongoing slideshow is THE killer feature for us because my whole family uses that platform. My siblings and I even purchased a few of these as gifts for our parents with the idea of also creating a shared Google Photos album with pics of our kids so our parents will always have the faces of their grandkids to look over! In fact, the original idea for a gift was a standalone digital photo frame, but it cost nearly twice as much as the Lenovo Smart Display and only did one thing! We've also used this to successfully walk through cooking up some delicious meals, make video calls, ask Google all sorts of spur of the moment questions and adjusted the temperature in our smart thermostat! At the sale price, this is a no brainer!

Large (10") full hd display together with high quality speakers make this smart display shine among it's competition. Build quality is superb as you can expect from Lenovo. It has physical shutter for the camera and microphone to increase your sense of privacy. note that portrait mode is only supported in Google Duo

Well I can start off by saying that this 10" display looks and sounds great. Everything is pretty easy to connect including bulbs,motion sensors and pretty much anything else as long as u have a smart hub like Smartthings. some bulbs and other things will connect directly to the smart display without having a smart hub.

This is a great product, really loud and clear. connected it to google photos, love seeing memory on screen. Pictures are crystal clear. Works very well for home controls, making duo call to talk to people at home when you are away, seeing who is on the front door or controlling the temperature or lights.

My wife and I have a Lenovo Smart Display and love it. We bought this one for our son, for a Christmas present. We video chat use our son and grand children all of the time. our daughter- in-law uses it to bring up receipts in their kitchen all the time. It has a very clear picture, and a great sound.

Overall this is a good product and we all enjoy seeing family pictures come up. The video call feature which was a major point for me has some issues. The camera can't be adjusted to point further down than the angle of the display. While not an issue for adults small children won't be picked up. The sound of the call seems to not be that loud even with the volume at Max. Additionally, the sound will cut out sporadically meaning a word or sentence will be missed. As of today the device won't place a call to a regular phone and can only do video calls. I believe most of the call issues can and will be resolved with future software fixes. Overall, we are still glad we own the product and get a good but of use out of them and enjoy the integration with our other Google devices.

This display has a good speaker and a very nice display. The size is perfect on my desk and picks up my voice very good. The four stars are for Google not having full Gsuit support so I had to make a free Gmail account to get full features. Also no ring video support to date. The device is 5 star and I think better thank the Google home.

This is a great display at a great price. I use it to play music, control the lights and thermostat in the house, stay on top of my schedule, and make video calls... among other things. Will recognize multiple users' voices and respond accordingly. Great purchase, great product.

Great sound and good display. Netflix and Amazon cannot be cast to the system so that was a disappointment, but Hulu can. The system requires the power to be unplugged and plugged back in for a soft reset because Google will respond on the screen but no sound will come out of the speakers even with volume turned on.

First I purchased a google home hub and every few hours it would go back to a "reset" screen. I returned and purchased two of these. These are a) bigger b) crisper and c) have better software. They also have a much better speaker. Lenovo really took a Google idea and made it useable. I have gifted these to family as I love them so much.

This is a great little device. It is responsive and the screen is excellent. Having gotten it on sale for 100 dollars, this device has proved to be an excellent value. It does seem like there could be more functionality, such as a web browser and support for apps. Also, the inability to cast Netflix to this is glaring.

I brought the smart display because I thought it would work well with my Hello Nest Doorbell. I was right. But I like this over a smart speaker because it shows what I'm saying to speaker. The speakers good but not better than the Google Home. It wasn't meant to be a music player. For what I want it to do, it does it really well.
