I got it because it has lots of storage & memory that I need. Plus it was time to get a computer with the newer windows

My old computer was dead (or nearly so!) I tried to upgrade it and found out the highest it could go was Windows7- and to do that required a disc I wasn't able to find. So I went computer shopping. Afraid I'd chicken out on actually buying one, when one store didn't have what I wanted in stock, I walked next door to BEST BUY. Not only did they have a 'bigger' computer for about the same price, the young man who waited on this old grey haired non-techie person also went on-line to find BEST price, explaining they price matched, which saved me another $10! (a Senior Discount, I guess!) I brought it home, dreading what "complicated" process I might be in for. Instead, the instructions were simple to follow, I hooked up to my printer & monitor and was off & running!

This computer has the RAM and hard drive capacity to handle the numerous software programs I use to edit and create the photographic art I work with.

Amazing speed love the ease of use for the gauge of device this computer is. Easy to use with great preloaded software. Lenovo is now the preferred PC of choice in our home

This desktop is wonderful, very very fast and I love that because I am a college student with all online classes. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I share this computer, up until recently all our space requirements were okay. Then grand baby came, she started taking lots of pictures and then oh my God videos. The computer started running slow and shutting off. We now have more than enough storage and we are upgraded to Windows 10.

I bought the Hewlett Packard that was on sale exchanged it because it did not have no HDMI output/input on it. I had my doubts about the LENOVO name. But I have to say I am very satisfied with my purchase

Couldn't of got a better deal anywhere else for this Desktop! It can play anything STEAM has available on the market, every game i can run at maxed out GPU settings and with no fps loss, so that was very impressive because the factory GPU's are Intergraded chipset.

I was deciding between this model and the next level down with an AMD A8 processor, 2gb RAM -- this is way worth the extra money. I am a med student and I study 8-10 hours per day on this, and it is excellent for internet use, all office tasks, anything you could ask of a computer. I also play Steam games frequently, and this holds up extremely well on medium graphics. The other really nice thing is that you can very easily upgrade components -- add another hard drive, improve the ram (but this has 12gb so that really isn't that necessary), or add a video card. I would buy this computer over anything else under $1,000 every time.

Excellent Desktop computer for the price! The only drawback is it came with windows 10, which is AWFUL, but anything new will come with windows 10. -besides- that, the system is excellent! Minimal trash programs to clear out, good speeds, nice enough set up to play the latest computer games with good graphics/performance as well as any business needs. Very happy with it.

I purchased this computer for a very specialized, specific task. In order to perform this task, I had to install a Blackmagc HD capture card, a 5TB second drive (like other reviews suggested, I had to get a power cord from eBay), and an extra USB 3.0 card with four ports (too transfer high volumes of data to external drives). I then loaded Adobe Premiere Elements. I also removed McAfree and installed Webroot virus protection. The computer was now ready to test. I plugged the GOYB cables from my HD camera, along with the RB audio cables from my 16mm projector (using an adapter from the speaker jack), threaded a 2000' 16mm sound film from an aircraft carrier, and proceeded to capture the audio and video via the Blackmagic card. The computers' processor speed and NATIVE 64 bit architecture (not to mention 12GB RAM), allowed a capture at reel time projection without the loss of a single frame, and the sound/picture remained perfectly in synch. I know this may be mumbo jumbo to many, but for those who understand what I am discussing, they will understand how impressive the performance is. Editing the captured video for color and other issues was equally impressive. A one hour HD video with added audio, speed corrections, color corrections, titles, etc., took 23 minutes to fully render. Used to take hours!! Needless to say, for the money, this is a spectacularly performing computer. I have not experienced a single negative issue.

I was searching for computers everywhere else because money is tight. Then I stumbled into this BestBuy website and saw this computer with unimaginable performance capabilities. Immense speed is always put out by the 12GB RAM, and storage is endless with 2TB of memory. My online games run smoother than ever with high quality 3D graphics. Thanks to Lenovo for creating such an amazing machine and to BestBuy for selling it. The only reason it did not reach 5 stars is because for the first few weeks the computer kept turning on by itself, but it was fixed with basic online searches on the problem. The computer will restart by itself once in a blue moon but it's minimal compared to the quality performance.

I purchased this on sale and it's been pretty solid so far. Setup was quick and the bloatware was no existent on the desktop. Obviously there are some Lenovo programs on it but it didn't take up half of the desktop upon bootup. Plays League of Legends just fine on the highest settings. It did slow down just a little bit on CS:GO, but I don't play that too often anyway. I could probably just drop the settings on that one. Overall, it's a good computer for the price.

This PC caught my attention based on pricing and technical specs. After reviewing technical specs and owner comments it seemed to have all the memory needed for multitasking and storage at a very attractive price. Using digital art and photo programs, this 64bit PC performs very well and has the peripherals and current technology available. Having compared pricing for building my own with comparable performance and the cost of this PC, this Lenovo AMD A-10 w/12GB memory and 2 TB HD and latest networking technology was bargain.

I've only had this computer for a few weeks, but so far I'm incredibly pleased. We got a great deal (originally paid $529, then got a $50 refund the next day when I saw B&H selling it for less, then another $50 refund when BBuy dropped the price for a week or so); even at the full original price I couldn't find another tower PC with comparable specs. My son, who is a tech geek, usually recommends Intel processors, but he checked and found that this AMD A10 is a good processor and comparable in performance to an Intel i5. The computer is very quiet, and I like the fact that the optical drive (DVD, not blu-ray) is horizontal, whereas HP now makes most of theirs vertical, which seems awkward for loading and unloading discs (I rip a lot of my CDs into iTunes). We will use this computer mostly for day-to-day tasks, such as Word processing, email, music (iTunes) and photos, so I didn't need a high-end processor (i.e., Intel i7). The 12GB of RAM is likely more than my need (my son said I probably don't need more than 8GB), and the 7200rpm 2TB hard drive should be large enough for all our photos and music. All in all, I believe it was a great purchase that should serve us well for many years.

This computer was a great purchase for my family with great value. It is fast with plenty of memory to store anything we could imagine! Definitely recommend for any family looking for a great all around all purpose processor with excellent value!

It's excellent a good machine and for the price it's amazing 12 gb of RAM an 2TB o hard drive for this price is amazing i think that AMD for the price is better than Intel

This desktop was SUPER easy to set up...it has almost no bloatware...and it runs fast and quiet! Plus, it was a great bargain! NO complaints here...just praise!

The good: Price, 2tb hard drive, 12gb ram, decent processor. The CD-DVD software is actually pretty good for general use. Neutral: Could use additional USB 3 ports on front panel (not a game breaker if you add a hub. The mouse and key board are as basic as they come, but not a bad spare to have as backup. Not so good: The bloatware is not overpowering and doesn't take long to remove but it could aggravating when setting up the unit and you get constant notifications/requests. Windows 10 needs several major upgrades/updates to be at latest version. Went fine, but was time consuming and could be daunting to someone unfamiliar with the process who does not follow all prompts. After only a couple of weeks of use It appears to be an overall good product and value. Time will tell.

I was just as shocked as the sales person when I pointed out to him the price of this PC with this amount of memory and hd space. And I have not regretted it since. This PC has taken everything I've thrown at it with easy. And the thought of not worrying about storage space has been a HUGE comfort. I DEF recommend this PC to Medium to Heavy users that require lots of offline storage.
