Enjoying the new computer. The most exciting feature so far is the touch screen. It is like having a large cell phone and it is very fast.

I was hesitant to change computers because I don't like change... But the Lenovo Edge 2 has been a great new computer. The screen is crystal clear. I love the versatility of it. I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade.

So far I've really enjoyed owning this laptop. The touchscreen options are very useful, as are the 360 folding options. I find that the drivers need careful watching, but when there are upto date everything works great!

I was shopping for laptops for a friend who would not be considered a power use-so my criteria were large screen, 2 in one, good track record for dependability, and sufficient memory to hold for several years. The Lenovo Edge 2 met all my criteria and at a decent price. My only negative comment has to do with software updates right out of the box - it took Multiple steps to get the wireless card to work again.

This laptop is amazing! I love how it can be changed from a regular laptop to a touch screen by just rotating the keyboard around and making it a tablet!

My husband purchased this for me to replace my desk top PC. Very easy to use, easy to change from separate keyboard and mouse to touch pad and keyboard on laptop. Especially like back lit keyboard. also like that it is light weight and not very thick, so easy to take with me.

I purchased this laptop not having ever used anything made by Lenovo. I have always had HP products.
I continue to be pleasantly surprised every day while using this device. It is very easy to use and the speed is great. I couldn't be happier. Had bought a HP prior to this and had to send it back so when I saw this at Best Buy at a great price I thought I'd try it and so glad I did. No complaints.

It's not a five star product, but gets the job done. It is heavier than I'd like, but still manageble for travel. Still not a fan of Windows 10 but it is what it is....

Before purchasing this computer, I had researched many other laptop models and read a lot of reviews, and then I decided to give a chance to this one. And I love it. I needed the laptop for browsing web, watching movies, using Office. And this computer suits great all my needs.
At first I had the message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" appeared few times, but after I updated the graphics driver, it works fine now . I would recommend this computer to a friend.

This was a replacement for an older lap top whose battery died.
It took me several hours to figure out how to use all of the features of the Lenovo; and now, I can't believe how advanced it is. It's incredibly fast and convenient, with the touch screen and keyboard. I'm really glad that I was led to this computer in the store.

While this computer is nice with the touch screen and the ability to fold the screen completely back, im not impressed with the speed or graphics. My screen intermittently flashes at times and startup or loading the internet can take some time. If I would have paid more for it, I would have returned it.

I read reviews on this laptop and they seemed very hit or miss. And from mt experience, most reviews tend to be on the bad side because people that actually like the product are too busy having fun with it to write reviews. So I figured I'd give this one a shot. Should have followed the reviews... *sigh*
First, let me start by saying that this is one BEAUTIFUL machine.Thin, sleek, with just enough of the right kind of hardware I was looking for. But this, as it turns out, does not make for a good combo.
Right out of the gate, after running through the pretty simple set-up process, I was greeted with a pop-up stating that the camera was malfunctioning. I didn't think much of it since the webcam was not among the selling points. Loaded it up with some programs, a couple games (not super intensive ones, just World of Tanks and World of Warships), and it functioned well for that first night, although there was a noticeable amount of lagginess when doing anything as a pace that rivals a 90-year old woman.
After about 4 hours of using it, I left it sitting to the side, still on, and played some games on my desktop. About an hour after that, I notice that it decided to shut itself down, with no warning, and began applying updates. I assumed nothing of it, figuring that the laptop may have missed some needed Windows 10 updates while on the store shelf. Decided to go to bed and leave it be for the night to do its thing.
Woke up the next morning, saw that it was completely powered down, so I went about my day. That evening when I tried to turn it on, it took three tries to properly boot into the OS, and when it finally did, it was acting as if there was no wi-fi ability built in. It was not showing any wi-fi hardware installed. I proceeded to Lenovos website only to learn, after some sleuthing, that they do not properly provide drivers for this model, as it is a Best Buy exclusive. In fact, the only way it even shows up on their site is when you input the serial number to check on its warranty. I then decided that I could probably use most any recent wi-fi card drivers from their site as they are likely to use the same card for most, if not all, of their models. This led to me to find that they don't offer drivers for Skylake-based CPUs yet. And to top it off, the machine would not shutdown the way it is supposed to, by going through the start menu. No, I had to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button.
Needless to say, I took it back that second night and got my money back. Waited a week and ended up with an HP Envy with a 17.3inch screen, twice the ram, an i7 CPU and a discreet GPU, Nvidia 940m, for about $120 more.
Such a shame too. This thing looked so nice... *sigh*

I was attending a class in the San Francisco area and my personal laptop decided to die on me forcing me to buy a new one. I have known for quite some time that I was going to buy a Lenovo laptop and I was very happy when I found this one at the local store. It has everything that I needed and then some, and the bluetooth is awesome!
I like the Lenovo products so well that I bought my son a new laptop less than a month later with Christmas.

Love this laptop! Love everything about it. Lots of great features and was exactly what I was looking for in a laptop. Only problem that I had is that I had to return it multiple times before I got one that worked. One had hardware/software problems right out of the box. Had to return another because the speaker kept popping even when muted. Finally got one that seems to work and I am very happy with it. Lenovo seems like a good brand. I am very happy with it. Just think it was a fluke that I got the few that had issues. Geek Squad was very surprised by the troubles I was having with them as they are generally good computers and not returned often (according to them).

I am still learning all of the capabilities of this computer. But the price was better than comparable laptops and you have the ability to use it multiple ways. So far I am pleased, but like I said, there is much to learn about this laptop since it has features regular laptops don't. Only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 star is that I am not yet familiar with all capabilities and how to ultimately use this computer.

This laptop replaced a five year old Toshiba Satellite whose hard drive crashed. My needs are relatively simple...email, web surfing, photo storage, some Skype...y'know just everyday stuff to stay in touch and be an informed world citizen. Not a gamer. All that said, this laptop isn't the greatest. WiFi occasionally drops for no reason even while my wife's gadget is running with no issue. Chrome randomly doesn't connect for some reason. Keystrokes randomly do not register on the keyboard. All that said, for the cost of the laptop it's, as the title states, just an OK laptop. It does what I need it to do despite some of the operational aggravation. I would suggest doing a serious deep dive at other laptops in this price range if this one is being considered. You won't go wrong with this one but there are likely others that are better. My yes recommendation below is conditional based on my issues stated in this review..
