I lost my Wi-Fi all together. After calling and doing a bunch of stuff to it. They had me send it to the fix center. Well I get it back today and it is not fixed. They want me to run more test. Why the ##### would I do that after they were suppose to fix it. I paid almost 800 dollars on this. Uses it only for work. In a month it's $$$$. I need this to work that is why I spent the money. Piece of $$$$. I'm so mad.

Worst Laptop EVER!!!

After a little more than a year of owning the laptop, the battery stopped charging (not a power adapter or battery issue). I've spoken with a dozen tech support agents at Lenovo, and participated with multiple strings on their community forums without any success. The agents know of the problem and stated that they get a ton of calls about it, however their only advice is to send off for repair at my expense. Crazy that there are dozens of people experiencing this problem with the same laptop within days of each other, and lenovo will not stand by their hardware.
I've never written a bad comment, but this one is so bad that I couldn't stop myself.

Very Poor Experience with This Lenovo Machine

Pros: Great service from the local Best Buy store staff Cons: Very poor machine. Day #1 experienced screen freezes and a Blue Screen. Called Lenovo and told to update Bios which we did. Continued with frequent re-boots to get out of error messages and screen Freezes. Day #4 another crash with black screen and error message "Video Scheduler internal error" Spoke to Geek Squad by phone. Told it is either a bad video driver or video card". We plan to return it to the store for a full refund.

This seemed like a good laptop, but it wasn't. The first one made it 2 weeks, then the touchpad suddenly became unresponsive and every single key typed a 6. I had to use the onscreen keyboard to even log in. The fan also started running on high continuously. It wouldn't shut down completely, the power button continued to blink, even after it said it was shut down. I returned it for a 2nd one. When I booted the 2nd one and ran Lenovo diagnostics, it reported at least 3 issues, one motherboard, one display adapter and one network connectivity issue. I packed it up and returned it for a different brand.

I can easily say this is one of the greatest laptops crafted. It's elegant, lightweight, and quick. I came from a different brand which was HP that I've been using for years and noticed that the company just doesn't make quality devices anymore. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

What can I say, other than this laptop rocks? I will continue to purchase Lenovo for all of my future computers from now on. I couldn't be happier with the speed, functioning, and compatibility of this computer.

After having 2 Dell laptops fail on me within the first week of owning, I opted to get the Lenovo Edge 2 instead. I have had it 3 days and the screen has gone black twice already. Also, touchpad is very fussy. A lot of times I click on something, it doesn't do anything, so I have to click a second time. The zoom seems to be a pain too. Constantly zooming when I don't want it to. Needless to say, this will be getting returned.

I have never used the task manager so often to shut down processes. Folders take forever to open. Hangs up constantly. Have to shut down internet, email, office documents. Making work impossible. Makes me miss my old one--and half the keys on the keyboard didn't work on it!

At first I thought this was a great computer. Now here I am with an appointment scheduled with Geek Squad. My Lenovo now makes a loud buzzing/gurgling noise and keeps shutting down on me. I would probably just throw it in the garbage, but this is my work computer! I try to pick out top-of-the-line computers because of the business I am in, but this is definitely not top
of the line. What a waste of money.

Bought this computer and was really impressed at first with all the cool features, but after the first few weeks it developed a frustrating issue. Now when it's been on for about 10 minutes, the screen shuts off, but the computer stays on. I called tech support and they were able to fix the issue for a few days, but it has now returned. This would not be so much of an issue if this computer hadn't have been so expensive.

Terrible product. Worse Lenovo ever
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
At fist, I read the reviews and I did not believe the 1 start reviews ( I have had 3 lenovo laptops before without any single issue), so I decided to give it a chance.
I bough it, first 2 hours the laptop worked fine, but after this time lapse, first issue happened. The WI-FI adapter went bad, not even resetting windows 10 or updating drivers fixed the issue. Not happy with the Wi-Fi adapter bad, the system started crashing, and restarting or shutting it down was taking long minutes. System crash + bad wifi adapter = RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY.
I recommend you to find another option, do not get this model, not even open box. I guess this specific model has a lot issues.
I am on my way to the best buy store to return it. What a bummer.

DO NOT BUY GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED EXCELLENT OPEN BOX
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I ordered this laptop and it was Geek Squad Certified Excellent Open Box. This means that it SHOULD have no scratches/marks, it should come in original packaging or equivalently good packaging, and it should come with any cords/necessary accessories. My computer came in a box that was two times too big, with 1 lining of bubble wrap underneath it, no power cord, and there were dings all over the computer. I was completely dissatisfied, and I am still in the process of receiving my refund after returning it. It has been over 2 weeks since I mailed it back to Best Buy and they have not been able to track down the computer (even though I provided them with the tracking number) and help me get my refund.

this would be a great computer if it actually worked. Do not listen to the other reviewers - I bought this from best buy and returned it for a new one 5 times because ALL of them had major issues. I kept it positive after all of thise because the best buy employess convinced me it wasn't the laptops themselves, it was the batch that was delivered to them (makes little sense but I was desperate for a laptop for school). I got the 5th one and it had slight issues (mouse going absolutely insane, randomly shutting off and a list of other issues) but I felt that was configurable so I fixed somethings and it actually seemed okay until a month and two days later when it really started screwing up, but it happened strategically after the deadline to return it to best buy. So here I am, now in the midst of corporate BS trying to get my money back directly from Lenovo. The end. Dont buy lenovos

Returned and replaced with HP i7

In 6 months time I returned to Geek Squad for service 6 times with wireless connectivity issues. Typically (but not always) issues occurred after Windows updates finished. Last fix the unit was sent out and the mother board, wireless card and hard drive were replaced. Two weeks later the problem returned and could not be fixed. PIECE OF JUNK STAY AWAY! Had the unit replaced for an HP Envy i7.
FYI - Brand NEW Netgear WIFI unit in the home and all other laptops and smart devices had NO ISSUES what so ever. I have ZERO confidence in Lenovo. Buyer beware......

Bought 2 of these laptops as my mother and I both needed new ones and helping her through tech troubles would be easiest if I had the same PC as her.
I'm definitely computer literate and couldn't figure out the wi-fi problems. Called tech suport, got one to work but not the other. Called tech support again and after many tests he said it needed to be sent in. All the while the other laptop was having an error with the graphics driver.
We returned both and didn't buy anything. Very disappointed with Lenovo and Best Buy for the poor service and low quality product. After reading reviews this is clearly a known issue and they are continuing to sell them anyway.

If I could give this laptop negative stars I would. Constantly crashes and runs extremely slow. The windows 10 operating system is TRASH!! The salesman really pushed this laptop on me when I originally explained that I was leaning towards a Mac. I knew nothing about the Lenovo brand, but after brief ownership I would strongly advise against it. Due to all the technical problems, I was able to exchange this for a Mac book Air. Apple is such a better product and operating system. Spend the extra money and buy an Apple!
