I bought it refurbished but realized someone else brought it back because it's amazingly slow and freezes. I took it back and geek squad was great and helped me pick out a new one.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-11. This laptop does have built in stereo speakers, with Dolby Audio Equalization software included. Be sure the speakers are turned on. The HotKey in the F1 position toggles the speakers on/off. Be sure the speakers are on. Secondly, be sure the volume is up enough that you can hear the speakers. The HotKey in the F3 position increases speaker volume, the F2 key decreases volume.

Great computer for less than $300

She needs it permanently in school so while I got her old computer repaired under the guaratee she needed one immediately and I didn't want to spend much. I had no big expectations, it was the first Lenovo in my house but I was impressed to find out this computer worked really well for all my 7th grader's needs. It is not as fast or sturdy as a $500 and up computer but it worked well. Now that my daughter got back her old laptop I am keeping this Lenovo for me.

Lags sometimes, and always has a hard time connecting to a network. I have to run the troubleshooter every time I try to log onto a network to repair the connection.

The shift key on the keyboard is in an uncomfortable and inconvenient location....too far away to the side to easily reach (this is the designers fault)

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-11. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
