It does take a bit of a while to start up, but isn't really a bother. I've written quite a few papers on it, and I haven't had a problem. One thing that I had, is that when opening to many tabs it does get a bit laggy. But I found that, that happens on many computers. It really is a great laptop, and if your thinking about getting it, you should.

Inexpensive little laptop

We wanted a small, lightweight laptop to take traveling wit us. This little laptop is more like a toy than a computer. It is underpowered, under featured, and really isn't able to do any serious computing. Add to that the slow, infuriating Windows 10 operating system. We gave up and took it back after two days! It might be OK to get for your kids.

Thought the touch screen does not detach from the keyboard, I find that I don't miss that feature very much. This product has proven to be much more reliable and has had very few technical problems all of which were easily rectified. Would recommend to anyone wanting a touch screen system.
