This is a great lap top for my needs. I'm not a tech person. I work on a computer at my work place but didn't want all that "stuff" on my personal lap top. I don't play games on a computer, I don't need special programs loaded on. I needed email and internet so I'm happy. The screen size and weight are perfect for me. The key board is certainly adequate. I've had it about a month. I'm not attached to equipment like some folks are. My egos not involved in a brand name. People with other needs may or may not be happy, I just don't know. I had the Geek Squad set it up for me.

Bought as 3rd laptop for high school student. Good value for the money $300 on sale. Handles the basics well including Google Drive and MS365. Used to record band audition cd. No issues with battery charging. Decent video screen quality as it Works well for basic streaming of Utube and news apps.

Computer is great for the price. Lots of memory and great RAM. Really love the computer, A8 processor runs smooth!

They laptop run fairly fast for 8 gigs of ram. Windows always have issues. They laptop it's self works great !

I got this computer for my mother for Christmas because she is taking a computer class and trying to be come for technologically savvy. It's great for her needs, being that she doesn't do much on the computer other than Facebook. I've noticed that computer slows down while multitasking, which can be frustrating for someone who is used to a fast computer. This will not be the device for you if you are looking to do anything more than simple Web browsing.

difficult with sending photos to facebook. Not happy with Windows 10. Keeps asking me to verify my identify. Has blanked out on me a couple of times. I also did not realize that the laptop pad surface texture would look "worn" so quickly and that the outer surface would be difficult to clean.

My son got this laptop for Christmas. He uses it for surfing the web, but mostly for playing MInecraft.

Got this to replace my 4 year old other Lenovo for work and couldn't be happier. I work a lot on web based programs and have absolutely no trouble. It meets and exceeds my expectations. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the glitchy Lenovo problem of not recognizing your user name when booting (Lenovo users will know what I'm talking about)

I decided to get a laptop because my other one was falling apart. After reading reviews online I chose this one because of the speed and memory capacity that it has. I love it so far and no problems what so ever.

Never afraid to purchase Refurb items from the Geeks. We found this while searching for a replacement for a Netbook, and at the right price with support from the Geeks, this was a no-brainer. Highly recommended

I bought this Lenovo G51 computer with AMD A8 for $299 at a Best Buy pre-Christmas sale. I should have spent more money and got an Apple computer. The computer has frozen on me three times, where I had to remove the battery to turn off the computer. The keyboard is cheap, and I have to pound the keys to get the to show on the screen. And I still have to go back often to retype some keys. One time I was typing and the letters just stopped. I had to leave and restart. I've had it for a month now and wish I did not buy it. Also, the Windows 10 program that came with it is awful compared to my Windows 7 program. Windows 7 is a superior program, by far. In many programs, I cannot right click to print. I have to go back to DOS command and press CONTROL P to print. It is almost impossible to find documents that I want to attach to an email. Typing this review is a challenge because the keyboard is so cheap. Oh, and Travelin Man is not my nickname on this review. I don't know where that came from.
