I am not the most computer savvy user, and certainly do not need the most sophisticated devices. I wanted a large screen laptop (not for gaming) that runs Windows 10. I need a reliable device that won't drive me crazy with hard-to-understand nuances. This laptop has proven to be that so far--and the price was right.

I bought this laptop for basic purpose. I am glad I made a right choice as I just use laptop for checking mails, watching videos and surfing internet for miscellaneous purpose. So far, I am loving the experience of big screen with the durability and trust of great brand Lenovo.

Good laptop for day to day basic use. Has a nice 17' screen. Could have a better resolution.

Bought this for my mom who is over 90 and has trouble seeing. Laptop loaded up with no trouble and it was easy to transfer her information into the new computer. She had been using a chromebook and wanted it for email and keeping up with her family on facebook. Unfortunately, it did not work for her. It was a little large for using in her chair and she could not handle Windows 10. We returned it to a different Best Buy location and they took it back with no problems. We ended up getting her a 24 inch tv to use as a monitor at a desk downstairs. For someone wanting an easy to set up laptop at a good price, this was a good choice. For my 90 year old mom, it didn't work out.

My daughter killed her high dollar convertible gaming laptop so I got her this one for her college work. It was a great value as I bought it in a bundle. I3 processor decent graphics, 1tb and expandable to 16 gb ram.

I bought this for my Dad, he's 82 and needed a replacement for the old laptop he'd been using. This is only the 2nd pc he has ever owned. The laptop itself is fine: plenty fast, plenty of RAM and more than enough HHD for him to store anything he wants. Being that he's used to Windows Vista he's having a tough time getting used to Windows 10 (not my favorite OS either) the system itself is decent enough but I have problems with all the nifty little programs that have been eliminated and are now either bought online or aftermarket when they should still be free with the OS though that is not the G70s fault

I got this laptop for a student to do basic school work but it can do more that just that. It can stream movies and videos without a hiccup and also can do some light gaming on it. The only downside is that the battery doesn't last as long.

My only complaint is that no one supplies adequate operational info for computer products and dealing with "help" links are a joke. Either you can't understand what your helper is saying or you don't get much of an explanation for what you just purchased. You have to learn everything the hard way. There are no How to books on how to use the features and advice on the "does and "don's to protect your investment.

For the price, this is a solid laptop. The screen is large (which some might not like), but it still fairly lightweight. I love it...so far.

I was replacing a laptop that had gone bad. This laptop was an open box. It is fast, has windows 10, lots of storage. And the price was right. Other people have asked about it also wanting to get this model.

The bigger screen is just what I was looking for. However the keyboard was sacrificed in order to keep the price low

It was wonderful and is but for a layman, hard to get set up by ourselves. Think I will let you guys do the next one I get...Still havent found how to transfer or sync to get old mail from old computer.

Bought this computer after reading the reviews and it has worked as advertised. What I like best is the BIG screen! Windows 10 is a challenge sometimes when trying to find a setting.

We use this laptop mainly for online shopping and homework. It works fine. No issues at all. Great price, nice big display. The track pad was messed up until I downloaded drivers.

This is a great laptop and I got it at a great price! This does all I need it to do and more! I'm still learning Wndows 10 but still love my new laptop!

Big size screen! Battery life is short! Other than that ...great to have for at home work.

I picked this up for a good price. There are definitely better laptops out there, but for the money paid, it does what is supposed to. My teen daughter is the primary user and she uses it mostly for school as well as Netflix and playing Sims 3. It handles her uses well and plays Sims 3 fairly smoothly at around medium settings. No issues so far with hardware or Windows 10 running on the laptop.
