For the price its hard to beat, great starter laptop or just a back up computer for the house 17in is kinda big to travel with, but doable if needed. Good size for the house I set it up with a wireless mouse and keyboard combo on my desk. Never really care for the touch pad. It is not a touch screen but you would have to pay more for that.

This laptop is fast and easy to use. My old laptop would not handle software for photos. I could not find anything as good for the price

When I saw this cheap laptop with all of its specifications, I knew I had to get it. As I waited to it delivered, I saw the other reviews and begun to wonder of I made a mistake. It turns out it's a great laptop! It runs ImageJ, Solidworks, Matlab, and many more softwares that I use. I guess a problem could be that the keyboard doesn't light up, but I really don't see that as a problem like other people. Additionally, I have not experienced any of the other problems that other people claim in their reviews.

Due to overcrowding at my work location we are now required to move from desk to desk and even work from home. I am a tech writer so documents are my business. Since I have multiple documents open most of the time I needed a larger screen and processing power for the MS Office Suite and multiple Adobe graphics applications. This nifty, light-weight, wide screen laptop gives the freedom to roam around the facility and work in a productive environment. I had trouble finding a travel case for it.

Large screen, fast processor, quality construction and a great price. Not much out there that comes close under 500.00.

I bought this laptop to replace my wife's current laptop. It has a nice screen and the battery life is excellent. For the price the specs are acceptable. The only problem I have is the laptop doesn't feel sturdy like the think pad line from Lenovo but overall it is a great "everyday" laptop.

I bought it for personal use few weeks ago, it was an open item and got a discount. I was worried it may have some issues but I took a chance anyway. So far so good. Works fine. Few software issues, easy fix since I'm a software professional. So far so good.

This works perfectly for my needs. I don't need anything super powerful for any games or anything. Just use it for some movies, internet searching and iTunes mostly. Got this for a great price and has plenty of power to run just about anything I could want

My wife has used the computer for about two weeks now and really likes it. I purchased it more for use at home with an ergonomic keyboard, cordless mouse and 22 inch monitor. My wife says the monitor is not the best on the computer. However, I have used it and it will serve it's purpose very well at an incredible price (I purchased it during a 4-hour online sale.

The man in the house like to surf the web and use email. This is a great lap top for him. Glad we found it... and a good price too! BTW, I never recommend products to friends so that is why I would not recoment it to others.

Screen is large...works fast....get a lot for your money

needed a new laptop. Didn't know the Lenovo brand, researched and found out it is actually an IBM Bought it and loved it the first day I got it.. Really easy to set up and picked up my wireless printer right away. I got the E5 for an extra fifty dollars and it runs really fast. I am so happy with it.. You can't beat the price.

After looking at laptops for more than two months, my dell of 8 years finally bit the dust, I was looking for an affordable unit to replace it. After reading reviews on this and other laptops I chose the Lenovo G. I have been very happy with its performance in running work and pleasure programs. A great laptop for the price.

the larger screen is a must for accounting. can't play games very well, but there is no video card. HDD is sluggish, I'd suggest upgrading to SSD. touchpad is fine, which is nice.

Best value/machine for the price. I've spent over $1,000 for laptops in the past and this one performs just as well for my 3D modeling programs. Nice screen resolution, long battery time for the larger screen size. Haven't experienced it bogging down with anything I've thrown at it. Definitely would recommend!

This is a great computer. The speed is amazing and it has a awesome display. Not used to Windows 10 and getting it how I need it probably shouldn't keep windows vista for so long (10yrs)

I like somethings about this laptop the processor speed and all the features, but I don't know if its the computer or the trial offer Kaspersky Internet Security that came with this computer. Computer works pretty good except when it comes to certain emails that I have received daily for several years with click here to start survey or go to the site well some of these will not open I tried disabling popup blocker did not matter, I can go on my cell, my other laptop or my desktop that have Norton Anti-Virus installed and I can perform these daily tasks. My next step is uninstall Kaspersky and install Norton to see if that works.

I purchased this laptop because my old one was out dated and getting slow. This one is way faster but IE keeps closing. Not sure why...will have to check on that. Overall OK

I bought this for my husband, we had an older laptop that we had bought 5 years ago. He complained about it being slow. Bought this Lenovo & he isn't complaining anymore. Easy to use & love the Webroot security - it has caught a few threats before he knew they were there.

You are not going to get much more for your $ as far as laptops go. No need to spend a bunch more as this does everything most users are going to ask of it.
