seems to provide all that one needs in a computer

It is light, it has good battery life, it has backlit keys, it has a touchscreen, it runs conventional Windows programs, it is fast, and seems well-made. Of course, it has the huge drawback of Windows 8, but I intend to move to Windows 10 as soon as that is available so that I will be using an OS that makes sense. I have Windows Vista on another laptop and it is definitely better than Windows 8 in that I can readily understand Windows Vista. I have absolutely no idea why Microsoft felt compelled to change something that worked.

Bad computer, do not buy.

The computer does not work and when I called Geeksquad for help, they did not help me. So technically, you have no warranty from them. The computer is suppose to be Geeksquad certified and clearly they don't know what they are doing. So don't buy..

Frustrated with the product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I received the product, I thought its ready to go and used it because it was a certified geek squad product. but the windows needed to be activated still but it didn't come with any instruction or CD. and I don't have he time to do all this. so I returned the merchandise. The geek squad who certified this product didn't do a thorough job to check it up before hey shipped it.

Just received it, but couldn't be happier!

Keyboard is a dream to use, and the screen is so crisp and sharp that I was able to drop the size of the font down by two. Love that the vent for the fan is out the back of the keyboard / before the screen - easy to sit on my lap or anywhere and no worries about heating up my legs nor blocking the flow of air. Just purchased screen and keyboard protectors from Amazon because I plan to use this a long time!

Descent little laptop

I had one that seemed to have issues starting up and connecting to wireless, but I requested a return and got a replacement through RMA. Solid machine, not too light, not too heavy. 14" screen is good size. Nice full size HDMI port and onboard NIC so I don't have to use a USB to RJ45 adapter for wired network.
