    Great Value, Super Deal!

I'm very shocked how much quality and how well built this desktop is for such a low price, $329. Lenovo did it right from the software to all the hardware. So let me list the specs the system has: *WD 1TB WD10EZEX 7200rpm HDrive *8GB PC3L Hynix Memory (1 x 8) 2 banks free to use! *Windows 10 *Intel Core i5 4th gen processor These four things combined will cost at least $400 retail! Now this isn't a super fast system but for the Black Friday price $329 + free shipping is the BEST value by far! And it's fast enough for 90% of the users out there today. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking to replace a 2 plus year system... Money well spent!

Fine desktop unit for the money

Core I5 processor, plenty of memory and 1 TB HD make a fine desktop unit for the money. Small format case fits under monitor when placed on its side. As with all units with DVD drive mounted sideways, it is a little hard to load and remove discs, the plastic drawer is somewhat wobbly and delicate though fully functional. This is the only real drawback to the machine, yielding 4 stars instead of 5. But again, the computer is a very good value at this price; an equivalent laptop is twice the price.

The system is working well but I had difficulty with the drivers. It came preloaded with windows 10 home and i didnt want it so I wiped the disk and reformated for win 7 professional, which was more of a job then I expected. In any case the drivers listed on the Lenovo site for win 7 were incorrect particularly the chipset and the video driver. I had to find the drivers for the chips set by matching the mother board to Intel's site and found the right chipset. The built in video card had old drivers as well and I got the proper ones from Intel. After the chipset installed the wireless lan installled easily. Prior to that it didnt work, and the sm bus controller missing went away.I tried to update the video card from the onboard card to a PNY geoforce card using the one and only open pcie slot but it wouldn work. I realized that the power source is only 160 watts and the card required 300. There is no way to add a second hard drive because there are not extra SATA ports. Lastly the dvd player is very flimsy. On a good note, it is quiet, fast, and very small and easy to move around. Id get a second one for the price of 325.00 which is what i payed. It is not a computer that I expect to last very long becasue of the flimsy componants but for now it suits my needs. I wish the Lanovo support site were better. The downlaoded lenovo solution center app, analyzed my system, correctly found out I had incorrect drivers then told me to go on line and find them. Big help that was.

I needed a replacement desktop unit for my mom. This one was actually a little higher in the specs than I could have gotten by with, but with the black Friday sale, I was able to get this unit at an excellent price. Overall the stats are very good for what I consider an entry level desktop. Set up was easy, and I ran it through all of the diagnostics and upgrades available (which actually took a couple of days to complete). I wanted to stay away from the Pentium and i3 chips, and with 8Gig ram and i5 chip, this unit has above average performance for its price level, especially considering the sale price. I've had no setup issues, and the unit has been working fine. Lenovo has a very good build level overall. I would recommend this unit to others looking for a decent mid-level machine. Windows 10 works really well (even without a touch screen on a desktop).

Fast, quiet and reliable machine. Small footprint on the desktop. A great desktop for someone looking for a well priced machine. Note not really a gaming machine

Needed quick replacement desktop for family members, this was on Black Friday sale at Bestbuy for great price (under $400), compared it to online reviews with other offerings from Staples, Amazon, etc., and this one had the best CPU, hard drive size, and memory combination with a decent built-in graphics capability. Brought it home, hooked it up and it is speedy, works great, not too much lenovo bloatware so didn't have to re-image it. Very satisfied, you won't go wrong with this choice for the money.

Bought 6 of these computers on Black Friday for a great price to replace all the computers at work. A great deal for a small business. Fast delivery and well packed. Great tracking and communication from Best Buy. Set up three in the office so far and all seems to be working well. One had some issues at set up but was resolved via phone call to Lenovo technical support. The size of the tower is small enough to sit on top of the desk. Great space saver. Powerful but small. Has an Intel Core i5 with 8GB Memory and 1TB Hard Drive. Fast web browsing and quick response time opening up large spreadsheets and file. Nice keyboard. Great graphics. Overall a great little computer for an awesome price.

I bought this for my wife. It's been pretty good. It's nice and small, so not very intrusive. The processor is fine for the web browsing she normally does. It has plenty of ram for running Chrome with many tabs, which she tends to do. It uses a laptop-style DVD drive, which unfortunately is a bit of a pain to use, and she lets me know that every time she has to use it. But overall, we're happy with it.

This was my first new computer in 10 years and my first experience with a Windows 10 machine. I was hesitant because of the Lenovo/Superfish thing but the computer was clean and it was shockingly easy to set up. Everything worked! It's a nice little thing and it works well. If there's one thing I didn't care for, it was the flimsiness of the DVD-RW drive door. Nothing's malfunctioned but it makes me a little nervous and very careful when putting discs in or taking them out of the drive.

It's a good, fast and cheap desktop. The only problem is that there's only 4 USB ports on the back and 2 USB 2.0 ports on the front. Also, there's only one PCI expansion slot available and there's no additional sata ports for expansion. But it is a good basic desktop.

This computer didn't get that much visibility on Black Friday, but I think for all that is has to offer, it was an absolute steal. Core i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD. It's plenty fast and quiet and the small form-factor doesn't take up much space at all.

    Great “Black Friday” deal

My PC was getting a bit dated so when I saw this black Friday deal at BB it was a no-brainer. Windows 10, Intel Core i5, ITB HD (wow), and 8GB RAM for $330.00 was a deal not to pass up. Saw some reviews complaining PC does not have DVD drive as advertised. The DVD drive does not have the typical tray to place the disc on. One has to snap the DVD onto the spindle. Admittedly, the DVD drive is the flimsiest I’ve ever used, but it plays discs great (comes with Power DVD installed) One thing I noticed when starting it up the first time is how quiet this desktop is with virtually NO fan noise. It’s just as quiet as my iMac. Unfortunately, this desktop sold out quickly so this price might be hard to find right now. For a few bucks more, still a very nice PC.

Perfect for normal home use. Desktop is quite tiny and fits in perfectly anywhere. I5 performance is great. Enough 8gb memory for high demanding softwares and games. Loved it and would recommend it.

I brought this item under thanks giving sale. I have to say that it came for $350 and it is worth the light weight desktop model that we can afford in that price. The wireless could be better but cannot complain. Memory of 8 GB and processor is worth the price.

Bought this as part of Thanksgiving sale. Very pleased with the buy so far. Compared to my previous desktop this is much more compact in terms of floor space. Has very convenient USB/mic/speaker jacks in the front. (no more fumbling with sockets in the back). The DVD drive is mounted vertical (that's how they get this to be thinner); but this has some drawbacks. a) it is NOT that easy to load/unload DVDs on the tray. b) after loading, when I try to push the drive back in, the DVD spindle head invariably hits the DVD drive internal wall. To avoid this, have to make sure that the tray it pushed a little away before I push it in. But for this very satisfied with the buy. (this comes with its own keyboard and mouse as well).
