I’ve been using the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15.6” Full HD, Ryzen 5, 8GB, 256GB SSD) mainly for school, and it’s been awesome so far. It starts up fast, runs super smooth, and handles all my classes, notes, and web browsing without any lag. The touchscreen is really responsive, and the Full HD display looks sharp. Battery life easily gets me through the day, and it’s lightweight enough to carry around campus. The Abyss Blue color also looks sleek in person. Overall, it’s a great value laptop that’s reliable for both schoolwork and everyday tasks.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 that I purchased several years ago that is my go to computer. I needed to replace my older Sony laptop that we keep in the gameroom. Of course I chose another Lenovo because it's compact, practical and easy to use. This is a IdeaPad 1 but is more than adequate for my needs. The team member at my Best Buy assured me this Lenovo would fit my needs and it surely does. The screen is the perfect size for us; it's lightweight so easily portable. I love that it's touchscreen even though usually use a mouse. We're very low tech and older and I would recommend this Lenovo for my fellow seniors.

Note: this review comes after about a month of light use. The machine itself is light and streamlined, which is just what you need for a work laptop. The lack of a CD/DVD drive, while inconvenient for some, definitely keeps the weight down, with a lightness comparable to a Macbook Air, though is ultimately a superior machine. The display seems to be high-quality, and the touch screen is especially useful for people working in graphic design. The keyboard has a nice feel to it, although the trackpad isn't the best I've worked with, so you might want to get a separate mouse for it. Probably the worst part about this laptop so far is that it has Windows 11 for an operating system (so much bloatware!), but, that's better than a Mac OS, and you always have the option to swap out the OS for Ubuntu or something else open-source, or even just Windows 10 if you like that better and can get your hands on it. All in all, this laptop is a good price for the capabilities it has.

I bought this Lenovo IdeaPad 1 from Best Buy, and it’s been a great buy. It’s fast enough for everyday things like browsing, streaming, and doing work or school tasks. The screen looks nice, and the laptop feels light but solid. Battery life is decent. For the price, you really can’t go wrong. Perfect for anyone who needs a basic, reliable laptop without spending a lot.

I needed a new computer for college and this ended up being the perfect choice. I'm not the best at picking out a good laptop from the bunch so my brother looked and found this one. I ended up getting it and it's been super amazing. I first off love touch screen devices so that was an amazing edition when I found out. It's super easy to use and I can even play games on it when I'm not doing school work. Overall, performance is wonderful. It's fast and processes everything super well. I haven't had any technical issues with it and I've had it a little over a month now.

I recently purchased the Lenovo Idealpad and as a gift to a young student, they are thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. The AMD processor gives a fast and snappy performance whether gaming or just using multiple tabs. The touchscreen is very responsive and it has a vibrant display along with being lightweight and portable.

I got this laptop as a surprise gift for my daughter. She needed it for her work and hers suddenly displayed that dreaded blue screen. She is in love with it because it has a long battery life, light weight, touchscreen feature and plenty of space for her spreadsheets. She is so happy for this and says so quite often. So far the speed, response time and display are all great for the price point. It work well for school, and document keeping. Although the storage isn't that great it makes up for it with its capabilty of expanding the storage and using clouds. Also the battery life is great. I use it for hours to write listen to music and watch research videos without it dying.

This Lenovo laptop truly exceeded my expectations! It’s slim, lightweight, and incredibly fast to boot up, with smooth overall performance. It comes with lifetime free office software and built-in AI tools, which are both practical and cutting-edge — super cool! The only concern is that the charger gets quite warm, but after a full day of use, there have been no issues, so I hope it’s just normal heat. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

I am very happy with my decision to get the Lenovo Idea Pad Laptop with touch screen. It has fast processing speeds, it is easy to navigate, and super user friendly. I am using it for college classes and it's perfect! For the price, I think I couldn't have found a better deal out there. After using it for awhile, I can definitely say I would buy it again. This is a solid laptop for the price. Screen looks nice, has plenty of USB ports and a card reader. I keep it plugged in most of the time, so I like the fact the included Lenovo Vantage software let's you configure a setting that is good for long-term health of the battery (only charges it to 80 percent while plugged in) lessening wear on the battery. One thing to note about this laptop is that by default it is configured to use up 2GB of the 8GB memory for shared VRAM. This means you computer will only have 5.7GB of usable memory which is pretty low. But there is a way to increase this. If you are not playing games or doing video editing, you do not need 2GB of VRAM and are wasting the computer's memory. Therefore, the first thing I did was when booting the laptop, quickly press F2, which brings you into the BIOS settings. Select the "UMA frame buffer" setting and change this from 2GB down to 512MB. I now have 7.2GB of usable system memory instead of only 5.7GB which makes the laptop perform much better at non-gaming day-to-day tasks which is what this budget laptop is meant for.

I have a pc and it has been bogged down with lots of issues. Decided to get something for quick access. It's nice to boot this up and just go. I have a side job selling virtually and its nice to just pop this on to print out a label or something small without turning on the other beast. I like the touchscreen. I realize I don't know why I really wanted touchscreen as I sometimes forget it even has it, but its fun to used sometimes. It's really lightweight. The battery lasts nicely for low demand projects, but the charger works quick if you are doing some high demand. Will it run crazy games? no. But I have been using it for some games, and using the cloud system from xbox has worked really well. I am surprised at some of the games I can run cloud streaming on this. overall great for the price

Great laptop for my son who uses for both internet browsing/research and school, while also using some for gaming. Very pleased with the performance. Also, lightweight and touch screen which is great functionality for my 13 year old.

Love Lenovo! This is my 3rd Lenovo purchase and won't buy anything else. It's easy to set up and amazingly fast. Great battery life. Bright screen and decent audio make it a worthy purchase.
