I bought this laptop on the spur of my mac breaking and I love it!!! This PC is my life. I'm in college so I used it a ton for my labs when I needed excel or Microsoft word. It's so small and sleek. I get so many compliments on it!!!! Buy it now! It's the best bang for your buck.

I purchased this laptop for my wife because she is always stealing my laptop computer and I have to fuss to get it back. She now leaves my laptop computer alone. It appears she is happy because she has not complained and she uses this Lenovo all the time. Its a great value at 129.99 which is what I paid on their labor day sale. It did not come with any malware. I also did not install the waste of effort antivirus software that it came with either. I don't need antivirus software on a 130.00 computer its not as if my wife is torrenting or going to questionable websites where she can contract something that creates problems.

This laptop in nice if you are looking for a compact design. Its light and slim.

I really like this little computer, alternative to working with the big laptops. I use it to surf Web, type up reports in Google docs and WORD. I like using Google Voice.....speak and it types. It will run slow, if too many tabs are open. Really convenient to carry to meetings. It does not have a DVD/CD drive, otherwise it works fine. Great purchase for $130.00 on sale.

I bought this laptop because it was cheap and my Alienware was in the shop for a new motherboard. I was determined to dislike it, but had to have something to carry around for small work tasks. I also bought one for my college student son for school because it was so inexpensive. I fell in love with it for ordinary, word processing, database, and Internet use. I haven't attempted to use it for game development, design, or anything hardware-intensive, but, it weighs pretty much nothing at all. It has been reliable and its claim of 8 hour battery life is REAL.

If you need a knock around laptop, this is truly worth it. It's fast and comes with a year of MS Office, you can't beat the price for the quality

Bought this laptop because is was small enough to fit into my pocketbook, the battery is long lasting, it's perfect for what I need it for!!

Perfectly fine for cloud-based use, lightweight and has usb ports. A good travel option. Enough space to download google, but not much else.

I needed a laptop to submit files on line so I didn't want to spend much money. I use a MacBook Air for my everyday work. This computer was just what I was looking for. It's slow and doesn't have much memory, but for what I am needing, it's fine, especially for the price.

A great, simple easy to use notepad. The charge on it lasts a while and great for the price! Great for college students to work on papers.

Although I am normally an Apple product fan, I needed an inexpensive laptop to use at offsite work meetings. This Lenovo completely fit what I was looking for. Setting up was faster and easier than most of my previous Microsoft experiences and the laptop performed well at my first offsite opportunity. Because it is Microsoft and not a Chromebook I could easily connect to my employer site and run all the applications I needed. This was exactly what I wanted at a very agreeable price!

The Lenovo Ideapad 100 S is a great value. For word processing, everyday computing, it works great. Would be great for a senior person who uses the computer sparingly and likes the feel of a computer versus a tablet. It would also be great for a student, but may not hold up with young persons under hard use.

This computer is great for the price! I just needed it for typing and internet. Very lightweight and pretty fast.

After having a number of tablets that became dysfunctional in a relatively short time, I've sworn off of them. Having a keyboard is essential to the way I need to communicate and to my work in general. This size netbook is the ideal replacement for a tablet. It is portable and the screen is protected, without having to purchase a case (as is the case with tablets and cell phones) .At approx. the same price as a tablet of comparable size, it has greater capability and function, at least for me. I miss not having an SD card slot (like all my laptops and desktops have had for the last decade), though this unit does have USB ports and a slot for mini-USB (which I don't use). For SD's, therefore I must transfer data to the cloud, use a card-reader, or transfer to a flash drive. I have also used a mini to standard USB to transfer images directly from my camera to this unit. At this point, that is the only draw back for me. This unit is my back-up and to-go computer. I have a standard 15" screen laptop which I mainly use.

I got this because i saw it on sale for $100 and i needed a new laptop for college, my old one was to big to carry. This one is a great size and i love the keyboard, there are a few minor bugs but for $100 you wont find a better deal.

great little computer just right for our needs - lightweight, portable, and has enough space to load a few homeschool programs like teaching textbooks etc. Only gave 4 and not 5 stars because the auto updates take a very long time to complete and sometimes interfere with our school schedule.
