While it has a great design, the 2gb RAM was just not enough to keep up with me. I ended up returning it, but it might be useful for word processing or other simple tasks.

I bought this primarily to run one program that I can not run on my MAC. I use all MAC hardware, but one type of software that I use in my office does is not MAC compatible. I have used parallels in the past, but I do not like the idea of having a virtual PC within my MAC any longer. So for the limited use I actually require on this PC it works well.

This was a purchase for a student who is just beginning. the speed and graphics are very nice, he loves it, and I loved the price.

I have a Mac ecosystem at home but required a windows based computer to run some programs on for work. I admit, I bought the cheapest computer in BestBuy and didn't expect much from this laptop but I have to say even with low expectations I'm disappointed with it's performance. Straight out of the box it's slow which I can deal with because it does have limited memory so I want to be fair but what drives me nuts about this thing is how unresponsive the trackpad is! It might as well not even have one. I have to use a mouse because the trackpad is about 5 minutes behind your finger motions (yes that is exaggerated but it feels like 5 minutes), especially when scrolling pages on the internet. Also, when it does scroll with the trackpad the webpage is very choppy. It's definitely not my internet connection as I don't have this problem with my Macs. If you're looking for a computer for a child in middle school then you can't go wrong with this laptop but if it's for personal use and you plan on using it for long durations then I highly recommend you buy something with a bigger engine under the hood. Even at $200, I believe it's overpriced based on it's performance.

I see why it was on sale. Very slow, locks up and it doesn't have an area to play a CD or DVD. Very basic computer. Not sure if the reviews were real or not but this is not a very good. It will do for now, it halfway gets the job done when applying for jobs etc.

I have owned a lot of lap tops because I work in the tech industry. This one is fair to midland. The processor is slow and the keyboard is very flimsy. It presses in when you type and feels rather cheap - quality isn't there. But I guess you get what you pay for. If you don't mind a slower machine, it will do the job.

I use for work to run online program. Simple easy to use with Windows 10. I may add memory to make a little more snappy

For the specifications you get in this laptop and the price I paid for this system, it is working great, no complaints

A little slow needs a more powerful processer. Internet explorer just does not work . you have to use chrome. Fire fox or other which is on the slow side. It would help to have a touch screen. This would probably suit a beginner or youngster. It also could be ok for someone whom does not require much usage of a laptop. This might be good for occasional short limited usage

My daughter uses it for virtual school works ok but freezes sometimes good for the price and purpose

I've bought several of these for my inn and the price & performance make perfect sense for my biz

I needed a computer to use strictly for the internet because I recently took my older computers offline. They are more difficult to protect from virus and ransomware (I've been hit with both) I'll use them to do the heavy lifting with video editing, photo shop and office. I needed a computer for internet only use such as to pay bills or watch Netflix. I did my home work and was impressed with the overwhelming number of good reviews about the Lenovo 100s. This device is well protected against attacks but on the outside chance one occurs, there is a button above the F3 button that will return the unit to factory status. I wanted to do a recovery USB drive but a dialog box told me I needed to use an external hard drive. I don't want to pay big bucks for something I'm only using 3% of. The sales associate told me the reset does the same thing so I'll go with that. To summarize, I'm very happy with this unit. If a person is looking for a device to use strictly for internet and not video editing or things like that, then this Lenovo 100s is just the ticket.

I love it. It’s a nice size the buttons aren’t too big and everything is easy to navigate around.

The cost was very good for lenovo computer. Our daughter was happy with her gift.

This is not a gaming laptop and probably would lag on more sophisticated graphic arts software . However with that being said I ought this for schoolwork for my son and Netflix and general web usage and it performs magnificently. Great laptop for the price. I pretty much knew what I was going to use it for and didn't mind going the cheap route. It loads very quickly, startup is quick.
