Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a gift for my mother in law to replace a laptop that was held together by duct tape and zip ties. For her use case this laptop is plenty powerful. She mainly uses it to display recipes while cooking. However her old laptop the hinge was the weak spot. This laptop has a full length hinge, so hopefully it will be more durable.

Perfect College Laptop

Easy to use home laptop

Awesome laptop

Screen is large and clear. Set is a simple process almost seamless. Worth every penny as it was replacing my 13 year old Dell Inspiron laptop.

Though I feel at times the laptop's mousepad is not that great. It sometimes bugs out, and you need to wait for a while. Though overall the performance and quality are very nice for its price.

To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

I use it for outlook, spreadsheets, adobe and freightdata all while using firefox with 50 tabs. The ram is sufficient. The ssd could be a little but bigger but for the price it was a good start.

Nice unit for good price

It doesn't seem to hold a charge very long, I charge every day. Have adjusted battery settings and so forth. Didn't really change how long it holds charge. Otherwise it's light weight, easy to handle

Regarding your note on battery life, alternatively we recommend using Lenovo's thermal profiles to adjust system power settings, including to a battery saving mode that can make a difference. In order to do so, press Fn +Q to cycle through the different modes until you land on the one with a battery icon and a leaf to take advantage of this.

You Could Spend More...But Why?
