      We are pleased to read that you are absolutely loving your IdeaPad 1i. Regarding fan speeds, to help with system efficiency, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well. Also, please ensure proper air flow under the system and at the rear so the laptop's air cooling system can work as designed to keep the internal temperatures low, preventing the fan speeds from increasing.

    While the laptop performs reliably for what it *can* do, the single USB port cannot support a port replicator. I didn't see the fact that the USB port only supports power and data in the specs. For this reason, I cannot recommend the device and severely regret purchasing it.

      The IdeaPad 1i has three USB ports in total, the USB located on the right-hand side of the laptop is certified USB 2.0, on the left-hand side you will see both a USB and USB-C which are both USB 3.2 Gen 1 certified (data transfer only).
