Got this yesterday for Granddaughter, the initial setup was a breeze. Yes, this has Windows 10s but it was easy to change to 10 home, search the web, and set up MS family so i can view what she is doing. She loved it and she is so use to a touch screen. it is a big screen but fairly light weight, keys were easy touch. Charged fairly quickly to 100%, will see what happens when she comes home from school if it has held it's charge. Much better than a chrome book you can do more. This little laptop is great for someone that is a basic user, or for a younger child, on sale the price and stats could not be beat, thx LENOVO and best buy for offering a great alternative to a chrome book at such a reasonable price.

Computer was purchased to consolidate all our digital pictures from several hdd’s, laptops and a external hdd’s. Over 70,000 pictures (my wife takes an absurd amount of pictures). All transferred ok, and there is plenty of storage left. It starts up really fast (10-15 seconds) and the battery seems to last almost forever. After transferring files and scrolling thru several thousand pictures the battery was doing great, and didn’t need a charge until a few days after, and the brightness is max bright. The internet settings revert back to bing for search every time, which gets annoying. I don’t use touch screen, so I can’t comment on how good or bad that is. I have done a zoom meeting with it and it ran fine. I don’t game at all, so also can’t comment on if it could keep up with that demand. For an i3 processor, it seems to run about as fast as my i7 processor computers, probably more attributed to the nvme ssd. I have a Bluetooth mouse connected to it, but the small amount of time I have used the pad on the laptop, it seems to respond 95% of the time to touch, and others I have to push harder for the “click” of the touchpad for it to respond. For basic home use, it does exactly what I was looking for and then some.

For the price, excellent. My aunt needed a replacement laptop after her HP died. This does NOT have a full HD (1080p) screen, but it is matte and touchscreen. My older relatives don't like tiny fonts anyway and can't tell a difference, so paying extra for an FHD screen doesn't make sense. The screen is good quality. Other than the screen, it's quick and build quality is decent. The touch screen works well, and 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD is the perfect entry level combination. It boots up in a matter of seconds and the keyboard and touchpad have a good feel. My aunt is very happy. I typically use a new MacBook Air or a high spec'd ThinkPad for myself, but this Lenovo is the perfect home/school/office use computer if you mostly do email, office work, videos, that sort of thing. It's plenty fast to keep up. Note: it comes out of the box with Windows in S mode, where you can only install programs from the app store. It's free to switch it out of S mode into regular Windows 10 Home, which I did - not a problem at all.

Good price for a laptop. It’s light, easy to use and activate. I only use it for writing. The storage is not a lot but you can connect an external drive. If you want to carry a laptop and not be worried about being stolen like a Mac Pro, buy it. Also I have an old Hp keyboard and tried to see if it works in Lenovo, it works, also charges easily, and you can use it for 3 to 4 hours

Its reliable and affordable. I've been using it for 3+ years without any issues. My only dislike is that fingerprints appear very clearly on the mouse pad, but that may just be due to oily fingers. lol

I did not know Microsoft Windows does not come already installed on computers anymore. I had to go online and download the free products. But that is not the computers fault. The computer is fast, I love the touch screen, and it's so thin and light I often mistake it for a black folder. Honestly, I love it.

Searching for a new laptop is a headache. What do all those specs even mean? So I go for storage which this one is 256 G and it's expandable. Screen size is great. Not sure you need much bigger. Very light weight for its size. Touch screens are where it's at mainly for convenience. HDMI so you can hook up to a larger screen and Bluetooth. The color is nice on this one. And you can most likely pick up at your local Best Buy in an hour. Plus buying at Best Buy you get free anti virus. Also a great deal on Microsoft Office which I highly recommend getting. At least a year protection from Geek Squad is a must for around 100 cause we all know life happens with electronics. Some reviews mention screen brightness. I find the screen very nice to read.

I bought a Venovo laptop computer and am enjoying it. The keyboard is somewhat different so I am adjusting to that and I have a few other things that are different that I must find out about. I like the keyboard keys. They have a different finish than any other computer that I have had before. I am happy that I got another computer with a touch screen. When I bought my first one with a touch screen I thought it was a silly addition but I found it was very useful if I was having any difficulty with my mouse or with scrolling. I would recommend getting a touch screen always. I bought the 'help' contract and was happy to have the Geek Squad set things up as I have no one to help with that type thing and I surely don't know how to do it. I am going to call and ask for help in setting the computer up to my printer when I have a few minutes extra time, That is a perk I was offered also. The computer is lighter weight than any laptop I have had previously and I know it will be easier to handle when I need to take it with me . The salesman that helped me was kind and patient with me and I appreciated that. Thanks Best Buy for being who you are.

I was looking for a laptop that I could use primaly for music production. So far everything has been great and this product exceeded my expectations. Setup was simple. The touch screen option is great, I used it more than I thought I would. Another cool option that I didn't realize until after I received it, was the camera cover. This little plastic strip that you slide over when you want to cover the camera lense. I probably wouldn't use this laptop for photos, videos, or Skype, but the option to block the camera was a cool touch. The keyboard and mouse will take time to get used to, but that's something unrelated to the actual product. The screen is a great size and makes seeing my DAW and plugins easier. Lots of cool options to synch phone and email to the laptop, which is cool for people who want that. Runs fast, good build. Really nothing negative to say.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this laptop many people on YouTube have said u can't get a great laptop with paying at least $600-800 that's a lie but I will say if your looking for a great laptop at a budget Lenovo is the way to go. This laptop is amazing it's a jack of all trades but master of none, I was looking for a pc that could certain games well and all the game I like to play I can play with no problem's and without adjusting settings. Some examples of these games just to give u an idea Left 4Dead, Smite, Dota 2, world of warcraft, Alice madness returns , grand theft auto 3, just to name a few. Naturally if your looking to play super high games u would get a gaming laptop or PC but if your looking for a great laptop that for older games it's great . It's light has a great touch screen and touch pad (even though Ii use mouse most of the time ) I haven't had it long enough to say if it will last for years also I can't really comment on the battery life too much it's about five hours which doesn't bother me cause mine is mostly for home use , and I know what your thinking we'll why not just get a desktop, it's because I like to be able to just pick it up and walk out the door if Im going somewhere. Overall if your looking for a great laptop at a reasonable price no there compares trust me.

this is a good laptop if you need to use it for work or simply browsing online. I have used this computer for a couple years now it not once did I have an issue with it. it still runs very good and I was able to upgrade to Windows 11 easily.

Awesome computer with a great price. Bought this for my son who is going to college and he loves it. Touch screen, full 10key keyboard. Lightweight and long battery life. Definitely buying another for me.

Bought this for my wife to use for an online business she is starting and just wanted something that was bulky, had good battery life and is easy to set up and use. Well this Lenovo is all of that and more. My wife is very pleased with how it functions/operates and the memory appears to be enough that there is little to no lag when using multiple MS Office 365 apps and various other applications at the same time. Also has a touchscreen which I either totally missed in the specs or just didn't notice but another plus. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a "regular" laptop, it didn't need to have all the bells and whistles. I just needed something for internet browsing, email, maybe movie streaming. I was also looking for a laptop with fast startup and application usage, and fast Windows updating. My last three laptops were from Dell. The last one had issues with slow startup and opening Outlook took nearly five minutes. Windows updating made the laptop nearly unusable. After checking online reviews from different sources (PC Mag, Consumers Reports, etc.), the Lenovo caught my eye. It had what I was looking for: fast startup, solid state drive which I learned speeds up the performance of the computer faster than hard disk drive. The touch screen is nice, not something I particularly was looking for but it is ok. The 8GB of memory is also nice though I will not be working with a lot of programs. I checked out the Lenovo in-store to get a feel of it. The keyboard is every responsive and comfortable. The touchpad is smooth and responsive. The Abyss Blue color is not bad either. It does not have a CD/DVD drive install which makes it very lite. It had Windows 10 S operating system, which I knew nothing about. I researched it and found out that I could switch out of the S 'mode' to Windows 10 Home. The price was right so I decided this was the one. All and all, I am really happy with the purchase. I am amazed how fast the startup is. Applications start up with no lags. Windows update ran in the background and I did not even notice it. I would highly recommend.

Bought this laptop to study and it is exactly what I need. MS Office runs perfect, quick starting and the touch screen is a plus.

Terrific laptop for my personal needs. This Lenovo Ideapad boots up quickly, plenty of power for my overall pc online activity, Solid State Drive technology, touchscreen for versatility, very light for transporting which helps me since I am a senior, plus I love the Abyss Blue color. This is my 3rd Lenovo in the last 16 years and each has served me well. My previous Lenovo still works well and I use it as a backup. This was such a great deal that I went ahead and purchased it. Definitely would recommend to my friends and family.

I love this laptop!!! Def a great bargain buy I purchased this item at about $80 off and it is worth it! It’s fast and efficient and it looks premium even though I believe it’s aluminum or plastic material it doesn’t feel nor look like it! The color is very rich and it was an amazing gift to give my boyfriend! He absolutely loved it! I was surprised it was an i3 for the price point def one of the best computers in this price range to purchase. You wont regret it!

I got this as a 3rd laptop mainly to watch nest cams, and it's so light and easy to work with (compared to my 2 Dell workhorse laptops) that I often use it as my main laptop. I'm familiar with Lenovo because I worked for IBM for a decade. These are quality laptops for the money! Excellent speed, colors, responsiveness. I augment the storage with a 400gb sd card but the 256gb SSD is quite enough for my purposes for this laptop. Excellent value for the money!

Got this to replace my mother’s aging laptop. Great screen quality, super-fast Windows 10 due to a fast SSD. Great battery life, lite-weight, and great camera made this perfect for her. She’s a Zoomer so battery life, camera video quality, speaker volume, and microphone quality are required. This laptop met all her requirements.
