When I used this device, I was shocked at how snappy it is, and the fact that it had a touch-screen. Even though it is not the most expensive, the internals are definitely capable enough for heavy workloads in Office and online. This is a great bang for your buck.

It's not as light as smaller tablets, but has more functionality. Very well priced for a touchscreen, which just adds to the ease of use. Don't have as much experience with Lenovo, but initially, I'm very pleased. No backlit keyboard, in case that is important to anyone. It was not a deal breaker for me.

I bought this cause it was on sale and just needed it for work but it has surpassed my expectations!! It’s light weight and the screen is a decent size where I don’t have to squint and it’s very stylish. Lenovo’s customer service is great as well. Recommend this laptop if you’re working from home or need one for school

I only use it for work related projects and email, so I can’t comment in a manner that is as sophisticated as others. However, the screen is sharp, it is fast, and it does everything I ask with a smile It has capacity to do everything that my older, larger computer could do , and the price was absolutely fantastic

This was perfect for what she needed. Good size screen, easy to work keyboard, and relatively lightweight. She only uses it for e-mail and some websurfing so I can't say how it would hold up to heavier demand activities

Great buy and super nice laptop

I have an 11 year old Lenovo that still works but is now used as a music server. This device for 399$ is super fast, SSD and touch screen is a deal.

Had a few glitches throughout the year but simple video tutorials or a customer service call always helped clear things up. Make sure you don’t leave the charger on while using it. Mine kept messing up when I would do that for a length of time.

The lightweight allows her to move it around with easy but is still durable to bear my father in law is. The touchscreen is quick and responsive. All in all it is a great laptop.

My 2nd Lenovo Ideapad

So speedy to boot up and run basic programs. Best computer on the market for the money. I would never buy a computer with a SSD drive. Also Light weight to travel with. Hard drive a little small but good for me. If I need more hard drive, I use the cloud.

Great size, love the number grid on the right side of the keyboard. Laptop works great, speed is good. Setup was simple. Only con is a somewhat short battery life. Not bad, but was expecting better. All in all, pleased with this purchase.

This model ships with a Integrated 35Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 7 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
