So far, so good! It has great battery life, less bloatware than many brands (looking at you, HP!), and the keyboard is a dream. It's got zip, too, though I doubt it would impress serious gamers much. But for work, school, home, etc, it's perfect so far. I'm very impressed.

Provides all the functionality that a dad needs except for battery life. Have not done extensive battery life testing but appears to be about 2 hours when viewing videos or actively surfing the web. In hindsight, I would have preferred a laptop with much longer battery life.

Great for School and work.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a laptop to use exclusively for school work and writing papers, but as this year has changed, I have found myself using this for work tasks as well. I use it mainly for writing and creating documents for work. I purposefully keep this laptop set aside for only work and school, so the hard drive space has never been and issue, and since I don't game on this the processor and memory have never failed me. It boots up fast, and does the job well. It is super durable. I dropped it on a cement slab and it did put a small dent in the casing, but the laptop still ran like a champ and I have had zero issues with it. I did not like having to run it in "S mode" and did so until I had to start using it at work. I was kind of on the fence about having to take it out of this mode, but it still runs like it did before. The one real issue is the touch pad and mouse buttons. If you don't press in the right place you end up right clicking half the time. I thought I would get used to this, but after a year I still accidentally click right all the time. I just use a mouse and it works much better. With the nearly singular purpose of this laptop I find it a good purchase, but if I wanted to do more it might fall a little flat in some areas.

The “M” key fell off within days of purchase and I just kind of lived with not having a key there. I guess I could have brought it in to get it fixed, but for the price and the time, I just stuck with it. Other than that, nice computer!

My laptop was pretty old, and I guess it was time for an upgrade. This was a cheap, easy laptop to get in just an hour so I could finish up my work. It did have a little set up in the beginning, but after that it was smooth sailing onto course work! I haven’t had any issues with it in the month I’ve had it!

I do a lot with graphics and photography and the storage/response time is still sharp after a year of use. I've recommended this laptop to a few people since my purchase. Definitely a super fan. And it was really reasonably priced.

The keyboard has a good feel to it. The laptop, when closed, has classic good looks. I would have liked 1 or 2 more USB ports. It came with only 2, but it has 4 other ports that will probably come in handy for some future use.

Great laptop for school

Can be slow at sometimes, but since I am only using it for school work, I don't mind all too much. I do watch Netflix on it and the video quality is good. The battery life sucks, but it does charge up pretty quickly. Totally recommend if you are using this laptop for mainly school work.
