I’m not going to lie. I was very skeptical when I bought this laptop because it wasn’t a brand I’d heard of before. I am so happy I did. That touch screen, while not something I use daily, is seamless. The display is beautiful. I like the size of the keys and my favorite aesthetic is the 10 key. It runs as fast as any comparable laptop but I felt I got a bigger screen and 10 key for cheaper than some of the more well known brands. I even bought a Lenovo desktop when I went back to school.

For the price that I got it for, this Lenovo laptop is a great deal. It has everything that I wanted, such as: touch screen LCD, HDMI 2.0 output, 8GB RAM, and it's a perfect sized laptop and beautiful brush metal design. I am very happy to get this! At first, I was worried that it had HDMI 1.4 because there were no details about what HDMI version it had. But luckily, it's at least HDMI 2.0 as tested on my LG CX OLED TV.

This Lenovo IdeaPad 3i 15 Laptop, model number 81X800MCUS, ships with a 1x HDMI 1.4 port with video out to an external display and supports up to 2 independent displays (native display and 1 external monitor via HDMI). HDMI supports up to 4K@30Hz.

Great price, ok laptop

I purchased this laptop for $300. The kids use it for gaming and adults when certain tasks are easier on a PC than a Mac (certain websites just don't work on my Mac). I also wanted another machine to experiment with AI (Chat GPT, etc.) I am not comparing this to my Mac but to my work laptop which is an HP. Pros: - touch screen - large lapboard - great for big fingers and has a 10 key on the keyboard in addition to the numbers at the top - easy set-up - intuitive to use Cons: - very poor resolution (this makes me not want to use it more than necessary because I am concerned about eye strain) - pointer often does not work, which is ok because I can just touch the screen I can't compare this machine to others in the price range because I have not purchased a PC for personal use in over a decade. I would buy it again because it meets our needs at a very reasonable price point.

Hello, ATLMom, thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding your notes about screen resolution, this model IdeaPad 3 features a 15.6" HD display. If a higher screen resolution or brightness is desired, a more premium device can deliver these features. With the pointer, this model IdeaPad features a touchpad on/off toggle button on the keyboard. This function is tied to the F6 function key inline with the top row of keys. Ensure that the touchpad is turned on, as this could resolve your issue. If this does not resolve your issue, next you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Making the touchpad less sensitive may correct the issues you have experienced. If your issue persists, we recommend contacting Lenovo Tech Support at this number and give the representative information on any troubleshooting steps you have tried: 877-453-6686. Decent laptop for school

Very nice laptop. I was able to download Adobe creative cloud for my design college classes and the apps run perfectly fine. No lagging or glitch or anything. The battery life isn’t too great but everything else is okay.

We are sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with your battery life. This Lenovo IdeaPad 3i ships with an integrated 35Wh battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 5.5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. I am a student about to enter college, and my field is computer tech ugly, which involves a lot of coding, including various coding languages. I also watch Netflix on this, and do gaming. This laptop has it all. I’ve had this about 7 months now, and I love it.

I will say there some major plus the screen size the camera shutter the touch screen is amazing the brightness is awesome. The battery could last longer I am want to warn that this laptop does not work any notebook pen but has amazing touch screen response. A little upset it is not a 2 in one great storage and display quality for a laptop under 300 dollars

Very much pleased with my laptop purchase, it is fast and powerful for a " budget" unit. It has 3 USB ports and 1 HDMI port on the left side. Love the layout and it runs an Intel chip!

So, i use this for school and working from home. Although it is nice, I don't like the fact that I have to buy a USB plug instead of just getting a regular Ethernet cord to plug into this computer. Other than that, I love Lenovo. Also, I haven't had any issues with this computer.
