Bad design caused melt in connection joints
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Ideapad 5-15ITL05 Laptop in April 2021. After a month I started observing cracks at the display and monitor connection joints. I took it to BestBuy and they said, it is most likely due to the heat from the monitor causing the connection joints to melt. They advise me to go through Lenovo to resolve the issue as it requires hardware replacement. But Lenovo is not interested to resolve the design issue that caused the machine to heat and melt itself. They told me, I have to pay to fix it as it might be hardware damage caused by me, even without seeing the machine (unlike BestBuy). I don't advise anyone to buy this product.
