Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available driver updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. These updates are crucial to the device’s health and can resolve outdated or corrupted graphics drivers, resulting in improved display quality. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage, begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, and finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re disappointed to hear that you had trouble setting up your IdeaPad Slim 3. Your experience matters, so we’d like to offer a possible solution that may help improve it.

You can disable McAfee notifications by opening the Settings app, selecting System, and then choosing Notifications & actions. From there, locate McAfee in the list and turn off its notifications.

If you don’t use McAfee, you can also remove it from your system. Open Settings, select Apps, and choose Installed apps. You’ll see a list of all applications, and you can uninstall McAfee from there. After uninstalling, we recommend restarting your device to complete the process.
