Very good laptop, but with a few issues

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates can adjust display drivers leading to a clearer display and will affect power allocation leading to improved battery life. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.
Secondly, the IdeaPad Slim 3 allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab from the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes" and select the best mode based on your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode which will extend the battery life of the device. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

If opening a lot of programs or heavy use of Zoom meetings and such it is best to get some type of cooling pad to prevent motor running hot and being loud. With the cooling pad it is an excellent choice!!!

Very smooth performance

The touchscreen is responsive, the Full HD display looks sharp, and the 512GB SSD provides plenty of fast storage. Great balance of power, features, and value for work or daily use.

I think this is a decent laptop. Very easy to carry around. Very lightweight. Good for playing some games and useful for classwork.

I bought this to test out how it feels, considering I found the price too good to be true. Runs Windows 11 with flying colors, no one should have to settle for paying $750 for 16gb due to the requirements of Windows 11, this on sale is as good as it gets. It's not the best Ryzen 7 model but it's enough to take full advantage of the available RAM. Touchscreen too!

I didnt need a gamining computer, but more of a research computer. Im taking a college course and need to research things and write papers. When I am done with the course the computer will just be a simple basic family computer. I love how easy it was to set up (even though in the box there was no instruction manual). It runs very fast. I like the option for the touch screen too.

The 512GB SSD is just enough for basic programs, projects. etc. 16GB of RAM is above average but the bloat and AI in Windows will still see you at 40-50% usage with a web browser running. The AMD Ryzen 5825U is just enough power for basic Lightroom editing while maintaining good battery life. My only gripe is the industry average build quality. Don't lift it with one hand on the bottom near the keypad because it will start clicking things on your screen since the frame flexes. This is perfect for daily browsing and simple editing that should last about 3-4 years before becoming too obsolete.

Can run games, and do overall stuff very good

I bought it to play Minecraft and to be able to study with, and it runs both extremely good. I can run multiple mods for Minecraft with it (over 250 mods). The display is also a really good size, watching showing with this would also be very practical.
