Lightweight and portable, this Lenovo has been perfect for its intended purpose. I needed a Windows-based platform for certain programs and this laptop has delivered nicely. My first touchscreen laptop, it's a nice option for quick selections when the track pad is inconvenient and you don't have a mouse connected. I also like having the number pad as a feature. I've had no issues with its performance, it easily pairs with my portable external monitor, the battery performance is sufficient, and it connects well with my Samsung phone. Additionally, it was a great price point that provided the more than I needed at a reasonable price that didn't break the bank.

From day one, performance has been excellent. The Ryzen 7 chip handles multitasking, streaming, school work, and even light editing without lag. The 16GB RAM makes switching between apps really smooth. The touchscreen is responsive, which I appreciate for quick navigation and notes. The screen quality is decent for everyday use — movies, web browsing, online classes — though it’s not top-tier for pro-color work.

I’ve been using the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 with the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U for a little while now, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it. For the price, it feels like a solid deal especially with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD packed into a slim and light chassis. The Arctic Grey color looks clean and modern too. Performance-wise, it handles multitasking easily. I can run several tabs, documents, and apps without any slowdown, and it stays pretty quiet while doing it. The Ryzen 7 gives it a nice boost in speed definitely not sluggish like cheaper laptops I’ve used in the past. The touchscreen is a nice bonus. I didn’t think I’d use it much, but it’s surprisingly handy for scrolling and quick taps when I don’t feel like using the trackpad. The display itself is Full HD and clear, though the brightness could be better if you’re working in a really sunny room. Battery life is decent but not amazing. I get through most of the day on a single charge, but if I’m doing more intensive tasks, I’ll need to plug it in sooner. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the speakers are just average and the build is more plastic-y than premium, but again for the price point, you can’t expect a MacBook build quality. Bottom line: It’s fast, reliable, and has great specs for what I paid. It’s a great everyday laptop for work, school, or casual use. If you’re not super picky about ultra-bright displays or high-end materials, this is a great buy.

Works really well, and all the features are amazing. Runs my computer games really well, and lets me surf the internet faster than my old potato. Screen size is perfect for the model, and the touch works well.

Perfect for what I needed: good battery time, larger screen, yet light enough to travel. I took the laptop immediately with me on two cross-country tips and had no problem with quick start-up, connection, and very smooth keyboard motion. I recommend for personal and business. I run webinars with no glitch.

Incredible deal for a laptop that achieves everything it sets out to accomplish. The only thing I would suggest is the make the touchpad a little more ergonomic. In case you’re wondering, yes, the cpu is more than capable of handling non-graphics heavy gaming. I’ve played AoE, Silksong, Sonic Crossworlds, etc; it’s handled everything well.
