Short and sweet

Setup was relatively easy and for the most part the battery life is reasonable. I didn't realize that i had gotten a touchscreen laptop so that's a little plus. Overall, I would recommend as a starter laptop for school and light bookkeeping.

While I would not want to play graphic intensive games on it, for email, spreadsheets and documents, it is fine. Be aware that you cannot upgrade the RAM. 16GB are sufficient to run Windows 11 and MS Office 24.

To Yoga or not... Easiest decision.

Yoga version was 2x with just 3 things additional - foldable, 2K screen and 1.5x battery. None of those mattered for me, and so it was the Ideapad w AMD Ryzen 7 and 5825 GPU that was the winner. No regrets on the purchase so far.

Good basic low cost computer

Used just for general home use...internet browsing, bill payment, etc. Easy set up, had all my data and programs needed transferred from my old computer in a couple hours and up and running.
