Regarding battery life, by default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

Purchased on 9/4 today is 9/26 and the screen keeps going out. Took it to bestbuy for an exchange they told me I'm out of the 14 day window and have to go through lenova now. Very upset as this was a gift for Mom and she's already having problems after owning for roughly 3 weeks. Extremely disappointed in how best buy handles this

To start, we recommend adjusting your device’s sleep settings which may be causing your system to shut off the screen faster than needed. Firstly, open the Settings app, then select the “Systems” tab located on the left hand of the device, click the “Power & battery” option on the right-hand side of the display, finally choose the “Screen, sleep & hibernate timeouts” tab, this will open a drop-down menu where you can change how quickly your device goes into sleep mode. We also suggest that you check for software and drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings which may be impacting your device’s ability to communicate with the display effectively. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

Screen is flickering

Got this laptop September 22 2025, It is February 22th 2025 and I use this for writing and occasionally checking websites That's about it. The screen is flickering out of nowhere. It's not consistent so I unfortunately cannot provide video evidence but yes it is flickering. Luckily I don't do any gaming or consuming video content on this at all.

It works. but there's a reason it's discounted so much. Wifi constantly turns itself off. filling in online text fields the mouse icon often disappears. Even my previous dell worked better than this.

I purchased an excellent open box Lenovo Slim IdeaPad Slim3 from a store. It had the plastic bag, but the charger was missing.

We bought our first one in early September 2025. It failed on September 12,2025. We were able to return it to Best Buy. It is now October 28, 2025, and the "new" one has a black screen. Totally unusable. I was tol Lenovo laptops were reliable, but two failed laptops in two months is unacceptable. I will contact Lenovo tomorrow, but I would want anything but a Lenovo.

The WebCam clarity is not good sometimes it is going to fade out
