Easy transfer

My favorite thing about the laptop is the ease of transferring my old information to it. So simple. I was prepared for a complicated setup but it only took a couple minutes. I love the versatility of the touch screen and the ease of finding what I need. This laptop replaced my home computer and previous laptop and gets a-lot of use. Easy to take along as well. This is my second Lenovo. My first was my work one which doesn’t have the touch screen. I enjoy this one more.

Perfect Chromebook for school

I got this for my son’s online school classes. It really is wonderful. Easy to use and works great. The battery seems to last a long time. I would say the sound is the only thing that isn’t as loud as I would like. If you are using it for school, it’s a great computer!!

Great battery life

The battery life is great the overall performance is good it just takes a second for things to load for the price it’s not bad can’t run that many games on it but if ur just using it for school it’s fine as a starter computer

Haven't had this for 2 weeks and the charger port stopped working. Went to geek squad and they said i basically wasted my money DO NOT BUY.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are disappointed that you are experiencing charging issues with the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook. We understand how frustrating this situation must be, and so we want to share some possible solutions to correct the issue you are encountering
Firstly, this IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook features 2 USB-C ports that both allow for power delivery. We recommend using the second USB-C port to see if it charges the device.
Secondly, we recommend running and installing all updates available; these updates can fix outdated or corrupted drivers that could be impacting the USB-C interaction. To start, launch the "Settings" app, select "About ChromeOS", then click "Check for updates". Once these updates have downloaded, the system may restart to finish installing files.
If this issue persists after these steps, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Support here: 1-855-253-6686, and one of our dedicated representatives would be happy to share next steps.

Everything I Was Looking For

So far I have no complaints on this purchase. The price was great, it has performed well, the battery life has lasted longer than my previous Chromebook and I wanted a touchscreen which my previous did not have. I use it at home for work and personal email and creating documents both both.

Great little laptop! Love the touch screen option! I don’t do a lot except for a little writing and social media but it’s worked great for everything I’ve needed it for! Battery seems to last a decent amount of time too!

Great Screen, Great Value: Lenovo Slim 3

Perfect laptop for college! Zero setup hassle - just log in student Google account and instantly had access to all my Drive files, notes, and extensions. It handles heavy research multitasking without lag, and the battery mlasts through an entire day on a single charge. I would definitely recommend this laptop to students looking for a reliable, hassle free Chromebook for campus!

Perfect home office machine

I purchased this to replace the aging PC we have been using for our home office. It's used primarily for Office apps, internet banking and bill payment, media browsing, and social media - and it does all of this extremely well. Quick, quiet, and just enough weight to not feel cheap. The screen is bright and colors are crisp. And the value is exceptional. If you need a general purpose machine without a need for gaming or high processing that doesn't break the bank, look no further. This is a winner.

Pros of the IdeaPad

Overall, this is a really good Chromebook for the price. It’s not extremely powerful, but it also doesn’t feel too weak or slow during normal everyday use. The laptop runs smoothly for the kind of tasks most people would use a Chromebook for, and I’ve been happy with its performance. I’ve been able to keep multiple tabs open at the same time, switch between different websites and apps, watch videos, work on documents, and multitask without having too many problems. It can also handle some simple video editing and other basic creative work as long as you aren’t expecting it to perform like a high-end gaming or editing laptop. The touchscreen is also a nice feature and makes browsing, scrolling, and using certain apps more convenient. The 14-inch 2K display looks sharp and is a good size for watching videos, doing schoolwork, browsing the internet, or getting everyday work done. The 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage are definitely on the lower side, so I wouldn’t recommend this laptop for extremely demanding programs or heavy professional editing. However, ChromeOS is lightweight enough that the laptop still runs well for what it is designed to do. For the cost, I think it provides good value. It handles the jobs I need it to do, works well for multitasking, and doesn’t feel painfully slow. If you need an affordable laptop for school, web browsing, streaming, Google Docs, online work, and light editing, this is a solid option. I would recommend it to someone who wants a simple and affordable laptop without needing the power of a more expensive Windows laptop or MacBook.

Best user friendly affordable laptop

If you’re looking for an easy to use, user friendly laptop that is affordable this is the one to get. I love the touchscreen and the size and it’s so responsive and fast. I’ve recommended it to a couple family members already. Love the built in spyware so you don’t have to pay a subscription for one. Prefer it over my MacBook Pro.

I have only had this Lenovo 14" Chromebook for two weeks, and it has not had issues yet like similar Acer that this one replaced. Everything works like you would expect. Acer had several issues, even after having to send it in for repairs.

The Chromebook is very easy to navigate, and set up follows an intuitive path..meaning it guides one to the appropriate features needed for daily use. Battery life offers a long period of use before charging. And one discovers new features each time a task is initiated.
