Not even a week but it already freezing up. Then it shut down and super slow

This laptop has a pathetically short battery life that renders it pretty useless. Now I know why Bestbuy was selling this model so cheaply. What use is a machine that can only last 4 hours on a full charge when all I'm doing is checking email? I would never have purchased this had I known how poor the battery was.

Limited capacity and capability. Constructed well, operating system slow
We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with your IdeaPad. This model is an entry level, light use system designed for singular, non-demanding tasks. Should you feel you are using the device for its intended use and still experiencing a performance issue, we recommend searching for and applying any available updates through Windows Update Settings. Also, ensure that your home Wi-Fi network is compatible with, and is capable of supplying your laptop with sufficient bandwidth to deliver the performance you desire for internet-based tasks.

Doesn't work properly right from the box and when I contacted best buy they acted like it was an apple issue and not theirs, even though ordered it from best buy. Already started school so too late to change laptops. Just wish I didnt spend as much on a broken laptop.

Used as a harddrive for RDP usage and attached two monitors and it overheated 2 days in a row. Definetly not good to use for remote access 8+ hours a day. I may have gotten a defective unit, I am unsure.

To start, please try to follow the steps below regarding device overheating: 1. Remove objects or dust covering the ventilation areas of the machine (ventilation areas are usually located on the left, right, or back of the machine or at the bottom side of the machine). Clear lint, dust, or debris from vents with compressed air when the PC is off. 2. Try placing the laptop on a flat, hard surface. Uneven or soft surfaces may block the ventilation areas. 3. Close applications that require high CPU usage. Check CPU levels in Task Manager. 4. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. 5. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting.

This is the worst laptop I've purchased. It's slow, the pad is half pushed in and it has asked me everyday to update further slowing my laptop.

Soooooo Slow! Get a Dell or ANYTHING else. Unberievable

was tricked into buying best buy membership at $179 rather than pay $250 for data transfer to new laptop. was not told in-store data transfer is only $100 even though I had my old laptop and power cord on the counter right in front of her. must be a nice bonus for employees to score new Best Buy members. don't be deceived.

The item order arrived. It was ordered on July 29; today is August 21 and still no delivery of theitem.. Tracking is still saying that the item is delayed.
