Bought this as an open box item. Worked well for 9 months or so then WiFi adapter went out. It was under warranty, but they would have to send it out which would take 2 weeks to get back. I could not go 2 weeks without my computer so I bought a WiFi USB adapter instead. After only a year, its slow coming on and battery life is not good at all.

Absolute GAMING BEAST!! Oh, and great for productivity work as well. I use this for gaming while on the road, which is quite regularly these days, and it does not disappoint. The 3050ti is not the most powerful gpu but it plays games flawlessly at 1080p. Turn down the screen resolution and be impressed. Don’t try to game at 1440 or 1600 which is the native resolution. Only negative is the huge and heavy power adapter at 230 watts but really need it. Decent battery life doing productive tasks but don’t put this thing in performance mode and game without plugging in for very long!

I was excited when I first bought the Legion 5. After reading the specs and reviews, I thought this laptop would be great for college. Unfortunately, the battery life is abysmal. Some reviewers and Lenovo customer support claim this laptop can get up to 8 hours of light usage. I cannot achieve more than three hours; all I have done is schoolwork on Canvas. I have installed nothing since I bought the laptop, so the background programs running is not the problem. Additionally, if the laptop goes into sleep mode with the lid open, it does not wake up. I have to force shutdown and reboot. Trying to contact a live person in Lenovo support is a chore.

Please be patient on first boot. It will take a while. Excellent gaming computer and doubles as a great workstation. Ran into slight issues with the drivers needing updating but I am proficient enough on maintenance to perform that on my own. Battery lasts about an hr and a half when gaming, but that is expected with these types of laptops.

Very fast (almost instantaneous) start-up. Stays fast with multiple apps open. Very nice display.

Love it. The graphics are amazing. Only downside is the battery life.

Got this laptop for school and some gaming, I was so impressed with the cooling while gaming, it never got hot all the gaming laptops I have used always gets hot and this laptop did not it was so cold I was shocked unfortunately, I had to return the laptop because it was too big for me and the battery was not bad but not good either.

This is a screamer. I got the Win 11 Pro upgrade along with it, and am very glad I did before I got too far into using it. The only thing I wish I could do is re-arrange some of the keys on the keyboard to match what I'm used to. Otherwise this has been very solid and I have not had a single issue with it. I'd buy it again.

Was looking for a new laptop that would allow me to play some games I have been wanting to finish/start playing but my old laptop just wasn't up to spec. This laptop is awesome and the display is the best I've ever had on a portable PC.

Great fit for all my needs. Three USB ports mean I can use all the devices I need, and the fact that the ports are on the back make it easy to keep my workspace looking clean. Runs all my games(Bannerlord and CK3 mostly) without any issue, and the larger screen, while not something I was looking for, does bring a unique crispness to the look.

For a laptop it does a pretty good job of keeping up with demanding games at medium to good settings. Does and excellent job of running office programs as well and cruising the internet. It does a good job and what it's designed for. Budget gaming.

A well made laptop with lights on the keyboard! I originally bought this for video games but it does pretty much everything I want really well. The colors from the screen are really good and the audio feels surrounding. I can watch a movie in awe and then the next moment put on some music.

Amazing machine. High quality casing and responsive controls.i wish it was more customizable with the keyboard backlighting. Even with the app it’s a bit restricted. The other thing is this thing gets hot hot hot. Especially while gaming, which is typical of gaming laptops however it has a metal casing leading to it being much hotter than you’d expect. Just be careful when pushing it to the max!

This computer is one of the best computers for the price and also the best option when you barely start to go into gaming and school

Amazing! I got it from open box and it came in nearly perfect condition it also runs everything I want very smoothly and the battery isn’t bad. Only bad part is the storage. 500gb isn’t all that much to store anything.

Really good laptop overall. It does the job when it comes to gaming. The cooling system that it haves makes it a bery suitable option when you play main title games.

It is quiet and performing very well. The Vantage software is user friendly and powerful. Legion and LOQ, IDEAPAD GAMING lines are just premium quality overall
