It is my first gaming laptop. I opted for a laptop over a desktop pc because sometimes I use it to work as a DJ or as teacher and need to take it with me but I wanted one that could game easily and this one fits the bill. It doesn't hurt that is quite beautiful and I know I could easily sell in the future if I need to. Overall great experience except that I had trouble redeeming my game pass free months that I thought come with any Legion laptop, apparently is not the case.

Speed is fantastic and does not heat up like my prior laptops

My laptop is soooo smooth when it comes to operation, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made and also not a waste of money at sll. Get a laptop fan and you’re good to go , not giving me any problems whatsoever . Best buy is the best .

This laptop is great. It does not overheat and runs all of the latest games at very high/ultra with no issues. I do heavy gaming and development on the laptop and it handles it all with ease. Cons: The laptop comes with pre-installed bloatware, as does any laptop nowadays. No big deal, I just uninstalled what I didn’t want and went about my day.

Best gaming laptop I’ve ever owned! I bought this based off of some reviews and this machine has been stellar! Super easy to upgrade, I run all my games off a separate SSD. The performance is great. My only complaint is the charging brick. I wish it was smaller, and they included a second charger for maximum USB C charging when on the go and not planning to game.

Fabulous pc. Good combination of speed, RAM, gpu, screen, value.

[Employee of bestbuy] Was in the market for a new Gaming laptop and this was the best of 2024 in terms of gaming laptop and it doesn't disappoint. The graphic card and the memory run by far perfection even though its an 8GB of VRAM only downside but for most game that isn't an issue. Overall if you need a good Gaming laptop this is the one

Bought and returned two of this model due to overheating. Bought the first model open box and it over heated and shut down within a minute of launching any game. Exchanged that one for a brand new one and same thing. CPU would spike to 100c instantly and shut down. Using a cooling pad made no difference. I returned this and bought the Legion Pro 51 instead.. Same internal specs but different cooling solution and it has no issues. It's Unfortunate that the screen and keyboard are not as good and it doesn't come in white. This would be an amazing laptop if it actually worked. The screen was amazing, the keyboard felt great to use and I love the white chassis. I am super disappointed that Lenovo would release such a high end product without properly testing thermals first.

It's a beautiful, powerful, and comfortable laptop. I love it in every way. I haven't had a single problem with it. I use it for work and gaming while I'm at home, traveling, or anywhere.

I'm writing this after having the laptop for 7 months. When it works, it's pretty great, albeit hot. I use the laptop a LOT, but not for anything particularly strenuous. I make gifs in Photoshop, play the Sims 4, and spend a lot of time online. In the 7 months that I've had this laptop, I've had to send it in to Lenovo twice. The first time, without any physical damage whatsoever, a section of the screen suddenly became pixelated and eventually spread over a period of minutes and blacked out the entire display. The second time, the 'A' key started sticking and eventually came off. Instead of sending one replacement key, I had to send it in so they could replace the entire keyboard and palm rest. Upon booting it up after getting it back from repair, my entire operating system was broken and the computer was stuck in a BSOD boot loop. Now I have to wait another 3-5 days for them to send a recovery USB drive and I've lost all of my files. (Yes, I have the really important stuff backed up, but still.) For what I paid for this, I expected it to last me years, but all it's done is cause headache after headache, far more frustration than it's worth, and literal hours spent on the phone with incompetent tech support who keep trying to sell me their extended warranty even though I purchased one through Best Buy. I'm sure there are people who have nothing but good things to say about their Legion 7s, but I'm not one of them.

This laptop is fast and has great features. The one downside is battery life, which I knew before buying. As long as you can usually keep the laptop plugged in, it's worth the money for gaming and plenty other typical tasks.

My favorite features are the physical switch webcam and the solid feeling keyboard. I've read online reviews for the Lenovo Legion line having a bit of a flex on the keyboard. However for this white version with the metal construction around the laptop, makes it feel very premium and solid. I also run a Macbook Pro as a daily for work, and this is pretty close to that feeling.

I love it. A couple years old and still running strong. Still strong enough to run nearly anything I play on max settings.

Man this has the be the best laptop out right now !!!!!!!! And for the price you can’t beat it !!!!!! 32gb of RAM i9 and a 4070 ? You can’t beat that. The display on this is perfect. Plus the color on this is unrealistic.

Performs great and I like the more discreet look compared to other gaming laptops that were available. My son received it as a birthday present and he was over the moon about it.

It’s. Great computer for someone who’s starting to game or even do some editing and recording, there is definitely much better computers but for someone who’s into casual gaming this is a perfect one

After traveling with the laptop as well as gaming schoolwork and video editing this laptop is fantastic. The color is an immediate stand-out it does look incredible. The thermals as well as the laptop for its size and power run relatively cool even when gaming running at under 80C even with settings turned up. The fans are also very quiet when doing daily tasks. The gaming performance is incredible being able to run any recent AAA release at the setting you want to see for the price. The only issue nonissue as it is a gaming laptop is the battery life it gets around 3-5 hours depending on productivity however it can be charged with USBC so a small portable charger is a great combo to keep throughout school days. But overall the screen is great the keyboard's lighting is a gimic but it does at character to the laptop. If you're in the market for this price range I can not recommend it enough as long as the battery life isn't a complete dealbreaker.
