I didn’t like any of the preinstalled programs so I recommend clean install of Windows and the ports on this are lacking. No thunder port and limited USB A and C ports. That was the ultimate deal breaker for me. I’ve tried a few other laptops with similar specs and this one just didn’t seem to process basic multitasks quite as quickly as others I’ve tried. Again, decent laptop especially if you can snag it on sale.

Screen is bright and responsive. Processor is incredibly fast, noticeably faster than Intel. COD Warzone - smoothest gameplay. Highly recommend!

Terrible charger

This makes it an excellent option for a professional looking laptop, with way more horsepower for more CAD and graphic work. The system is light, has a decent port selection (no HDMI though), and fairly good fingerprint sensor. My only issues are that the screen doesn't get bright enough, the fans gets pretty loud when gaming, and the power brick is large and heavy. Battery life is average, but by no means wow.

This model ships with a 15.6 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - FHD (1920x1080) screen, with a brightness level of 300 nits, has an Anti-glare coating, a refresh rate of 165Hz. This screen provides 100 Percent sRGB (72 Percent of the NTSC) color gamut for excellent color accuracy. This screen is Dolby Vision, Free-Sync and G-Sync Certified. This screen uses DC dimmer for added eye care. If your screen image is not as bright as expected, be sure you have auto/adaptive brightness turned off, then adjust the screen brightness to your personal preference. The aluminum magnesium body is light and ridged — much better than the plastic found on similarly priced gaming laptops. It has a fingerprint reader, manual webcam cover, 10-key, plus great cpu/gpu for gaming.

6 months and I am still all smiles

I have used it every single day for 6 months and still going strong. It's had some heavy use and abuse, taken everything I could throw at it, and is like, "is that all you got!"
