Cheap gaming laptop

I currently run Apex Legends, Fortnite, overwatch, COD and Wow without any issues. I use hotel internet (not fast) and run 30 to 55 ping avg. If you can get this open box like I did it’s a crazy good deal. Overall I like the laptop and glad I got it. Only issue all the software they put on it (you can remove it)

Great budget gaming laptop

This PC runs everything I've thrown on it fast and at over 60 fps. I was worried about the 1 TB drive speed but the optaine memory has been working great and making it fly.

Great laptop for non gamer

I love it . Both my sons asked why I bought a 'gamer laptop" as a non gamer. It has better faster processor & the graphics are great for videos! My youngest son even offer to trade me his 3 year old laptop because my graphics are better - I said no

Hooked up my Frsky xd9+ (USB) and Fatshark HDO (HDMI) and was really happy with the results. Bonus was I also received a free Cod 4 blackout with the purchase. Nice soft keys , stealthy, great gaming laptop for the price.

Major Flaws in a Great Package

Also during that time I determined while playing games even though the laptop was plugged in it was losing a charge at 10% every 30 minutes. Can the included power supply not keep up with the demand of the laptop? I plan on returning this laptop it doesn’t seem to be completely ready.

It still has great specs, can play games like Fallout 4, and I absolutely I am glad I picked this computer. If you want a gaming laptop but are a on a budget, I recommend.

Aside from the left mouse click getting stuck and breaking. I though of I bought the extended geek squad warrenty that I would be able to get a replacement but I was sadly mistaken. Don't waste your money on the warranty!

Good but not the best option.

But the i7 core can get really hot, the realtek wifi card was not working properly, and I had a hard time trying to upgrade SSD because of the Intel optain 16gb. I would recommend buying the i5 8gb ram one. You won't recognize the difference.

It features a dual-channel thermal system, offering multiple benefits: individual CPU and GPU cooling, for cooler system temperatures; four thermal vents, for improved airflow; and 70 individual fan blades per channel, to reduce system noise. The Legion Y530 has the latest 5G 802.11 AC (2 x 2). This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This configuration ships with 16GB of Intel Optane Memory. There is no need to change the standard 7200 RPM hard drive to a solid state drive. The Intel Optane Memory gives the standard hard drive the fast boot up and quick program and file recall of select programs and files. I found this laptop, which is used for entry level gaming. I used it for everything, but gaming and I love it. Only drawback is it's not touchscreen which is fine with me.
