Bought this desktop for a work computer. Has everything I need and more!

The Lenovo LOQ Desktop is a great value for folks looking to do some gaming in their free time. The 10-core Intel i5 Processor will do everything you ask of it without lag or jank. Processing videos in 4k is no problem with this computer. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 video card probably has a lot to do with this. Unless you are playing Call of Duty competitively, the video card that comes with this computer is plenty to play lag free gaming at a reasonable resolution. Even with a decently video card inside this computer, this tower is nearly silent. The fans and ventilation design in this tower is incredibly quiet and I have no problem leaving this on all day. Included is also 16 gigabytes of RAM which is plenty for most applications. Pre-installed is a 512GB NVMe drive and has an option in the tower to add a 3.5 inch hard drive for expanded storage. Since there is only one NVMe slot in on the motherboard, it looks like you can only expand to an additional 3.5 inch hard drive and one SSD hard drive. The keyboard that comes with this computer leaves a lot to be desired so I would suggest investing in a different keyboard. This system has Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth included so to get up and running, you would just need internet service. This system comes with Windows 11 Home, which could be a problem if you were to use this computer as a server. Windows Remote Desktop Manager only comes with Windows 11 Pro. However, if you are just looking for a computer to plug in and go gaming and be productive, this is a great machine. All of this in an attractive mid-tower sized case that will not take up a bunch of space and plenty of power for the majority of people looking to play some games that does not demand the crazy updated specs. This computer should serve most people many years of service without frustration.

Great gaming tower that is not huge. If you’re looking for a smaller tower that run most games this is your machine.

I was using a PC with an integrated graphics card that work fairly well but with this Lenovo PC the performance so was significantly improved that I was seeing details that I didn’t know were there.

I just purchased a week ago but so far so good. I do notbjnow much about PCs so I was a little worried before I purchased but thid PC turned put to be great and very fast!

I got this computer utilize as a basic work computer. I needed to upgrade my secondary access point in my house for my work and I did not need a lot, and this hits the spec numbers and price point I was looking for, with components that will be more than enough of what I expect from it. I will mainly be using a VPN portal for work network access, and I do use polycom (video) for main work secure conferences, as well as two other video conference programs for general meetings, and a ton of office programs. That being said, occasionally after hours I would like to have a few games on it. This has 16gb ram and 512 storage, and runs quiet, and is a good size that fits easily under the little desk I use. It starts up fast with quick loading. Windows 11 runs fine, and setup is simple, just follow what it asks. It does not come with any papers or books, but they are online. It runs a bit warmer than my basic integrated graphics computer like my old desktop was (intel integrated graphics), but no changes needed in my worksapace for ventilation. This has the nvidia 3050 8gb card, a solid unit, and there is the optional upgrade to 3060 12gb unit. I'm actually running a 360ti in my actual gaming desktop, so this was an easy pic for me. It is a well supported unit that even though older, and shouldn't be dropped soon (only 2 years old now). I have added an external dvd drive to this because I like to listen to music from my cd collection, and I like to back things up on dvd/cd occasionally. This very easily runs Fortnite, and I did install Forza 4 (just to try it) and it ran smooth, but I did Uninstall it only to just keep space free and less tempting to game instead of work. This does come with a basic keyboard and mouse. They work as they should, more than enough for daily use. I hooked up my older 2017 touchscreen monitor, and it works well. I did hook up my non touch 2018 qhd monitor for fun from my other gaming computer, and it looks great, but I'm used to the touchscreen for the office, and it works, so I'm going to use it. I had been looking at units with similar builds for about 4 months and having experience with 2 other Lenovo computers in the past, and their Motorola phone line, this did factor into choosing this over several other brands. Mainly the memory, storage, and video card combo were just right. I do reccomend this computer as a daily user. 5 stars.

Blue screened me then constant black screen after 7 days of owning it. The computer had my keyboard and mouse program, two jpegs, and valorant on it. That’s it. Ran valorant well, crashed only a few times. Couldn’t survive long enough for me to use anything else.

I purchased this desktop for my son for Christmas this year. I was really excited to be able to find such a good deal. However, when we plugged it in and started it up, there was no video output. Tried to troubleshoot it as I am a technician myself. Nothing. Best Buy initiated an exchange for me and the new one arrived within a week. We excitedly picked up the new desktop and was able to boot it up and it worked beautifully... for a week... while my son was playing Roblox the screen went black and now we are back to the same problem. I do not recommend this model. That's two brand new in box that are faulty. Not Best Buy's fault, but I will be taking this back for a refund.

IT WORKED BRIEFLY AND BEGAN TO SMOKE FOR REASONS UNSEAN. NASTY SMELLING BURNING PLASTIC SMOKE. FELT TOXIC AND CHILDREN AND WIFE PRESENT IN HOUSE. NOTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT USAGE, AND IF HAD NOT TOTALLY FAILED WOULD PROBABLY HAD FUNCTIONED NORMAL.

Worked really well for the first few months, but it just completely broke recently. It won't even turn on. It just beeps at me, and I don't know what's wrong with it. I don't think there's anything wrong with this model, but something must have been wrong in shipping or whatever.
