I actually bought this laptop for my mother for Christmas but I had some time with it to set it up and get some initial impressions of it. She also chimed in as well with her experience with it so far. -Build quality is great. The laptop is mainly plastic but it is incredibly light. Even when first purchasing it I noticed how light the box is. The laptop itself is extremely light weight and has a nice matte finish look to it. Might a little bit of a finger print magnet though over time. -The charging unit is also incredibly small. Normally I would be accustomed to a larger charging brick but this charger is compact and travel friendly which is definitely a plus. -The screen is bright and vibrant. It's not an OLED display but being a 2880 x 1620 3K LED display it looks great. The picture comes in very sharp and this was something i was looking for when shopping for a laptop in this price range. Almost all the other offerings were 1080p but this one blows it away in PPI and overall picture quality. -The touch screen itself is fast and responsive. Was another thing I was looking for as she's always using the touch screen. So far no complaints using it. -Performance for the average user for this laptop is great. I wouldn't call this a gaming laptop but since it's paired with an RTX 3050, I assume it can handle some light gaming. For her use case scenario however, the Ryzen 7 paired with 16gb of ram handles her endless amounts of chrome tabs with no slow down in performance so far. -Keyboard is decent. It's definitely not a MacBook Pro keyboard but it's good enough. Another perk is that it's a backlight keyboard, something hard to come by usually in this price range. -Track pad is a good size and pairs well with this form factor size. Felt responsive and accurate for touch inputs. -Battery life seems to be good. I haven't personally had the chance to test it but as far as I've heard, she has no complaints about it. The charging seems to be fairly quick as well. -Overall, I felt like this was an awesome buy for the money and will last for years to come with the specs it offers. She's had about 3 Lenovos before this one and has never had any major issues with quality or laptop failure. I'm sure there won't be any change with this one. This laptop is mainly used at a docking station and performs well at that. Can pass for a desktop setup with a monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse with the performance it offers. Overall a great buy!

Absolutely incredible! - Powerful processors - Smooth and beautiful 120hz touch screen - Outstanding build quality - Small, lightweight, and portable - Mind blowing battery life, considering the specs* I am able to play Forza Horizon 5 on maximum ray tracing settings for several hours just on battery power with this thing. And it hardly makes a peep! The port selections are alright but I do wish it had a full size HDMI or Micro SD port, but we have USB-C hubs for that. *The power went out and has been out for the past few days as I write this, and this singular laptop has been the source of power for all of my devices thus far. AND IT STARTED ON HALF CHARGE. This is ON TOP OF me using to play games for an hour during this. I absolutely LOVE this laptop. If it is ever in stock, BUY ONE FOR YOURSELF. (Also note that I bought it on clearance for a fraction of the price. Used, Open-Box, or Refurbished are all great options :)

Have only had ot for over a week but this ghing is the real Deal. Great aesthetics, powerful performance, extremely slim and Light. I am coming from a HP Spectre and this thing is my preferred option by far. The dedicated graphics card is a game changer!

I'm so happy I decided to purchase this laptop. I got it for such a great deal because it was returned prior to my purchase. I felt confident purchasing used from Best Buy because of their quality control and I was not disappointed in any way. The laptop is fast, the graphics are great, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

The Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X is awesome for gaming, especially FIFA 24. It's got a fast AMD processor, NVIDIA graphics, and a big SSD for smooth gameplay. Plus, it looks sleek!

Fast boot up and runs multiple windows and programs simultaneously with no issues. I run photo editing through Lightroom flawlessly.

An excellent laptop, very suitable for both gaming and school use. I was quite surprised by the long battery life and all-in-all, it was a ridiculously good deal for around 850$(there was a discount when I purchased it I think). The downsides are the sort-of 'plastic' feel of the board(though aesthetically, it looks quite fine), and the mediocre speakers but these are very tolerable downsides for me!

This laptop exceeds my expectations, the screen resolution is beautiful, is really compact, portable and light, the unlock feature with the face is amazing, the only thing is the battery life is average but charge is fast.

I have had it about a month, and it is performing very well. It is relatively fast and has most of the latest bells and whistles. No complaint so far.

A very nice laptop! Works very well and came exactly as it was described. It does struggle some with some of the heavier games I've tried to play on it, and there have been a couple of minor glitches, but those could easily be a problem with mine alone, and overall I think that it functions and handles high use very well. I'd buy it again.

In general, once it starts, it functions great. However, starting this laptop is exceedingly difficult. One should be able to just push the start button, but it refuses to turn on. We've had to research ways and chat forums to learn workarounds to get the laptop to actually turn on. So, clearly this is a consistent issue. Bear in mind, we bought this only 5 months ago and it's been struggling to start up for at least 2 months already. It could be a faulty device, and we'll have to see if it's under warranty, but a new laptop should fire up instantly and easily. This one struggles.

Pretty powerful laptop with a great screen but lenovo needs to improve their quality control. Mine stopped charging completely after the warranty expired, turned out to be a bad battery. I recommend that if you are thinking of buying this laptop to please extend your warranty.
