I almost passed this up because I’ve never liked refurbished equipment. I’m glad I didn’t. It’s quiet and works perfectly. Windows 10 Professional installed without any problems. It’s not as fast as my more modern 7th generation i3, but I didn’t expect it to be, so that’s not a problem. It has enough horsepower to comfortably run Windows 10 and my programs, and that’s what I wanted. The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that it arrived with a broken keyboard. It wasn’t a big problem because I intended to use it with a spare keyboard anyway. It just made me uncomfortable to see that busted keyboard and to know that the PC could have taken a hit, too. Fortunately, the PC works fine and doesn’t seem to have been damaged. Better packing would have earned them 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend

Refurb. from Joy Systems in New Jersey. I've gotten products from them for years and have never ever had a bad unit until this one. Out of the box it would power off 1 to 3 times when trying to start it, wouldn't load the network driver properly unless you uninstalled it and reinstalled it and other problems. Boxed it back up returned it to Best Buy and as usual they were excellent about it! So the product turned out not to be good but it's really not Best Buy's fault at all. And yes I will continue to buy refurbished systems as needed from Joy Systems.
