    The Thinkpad is of course an excellent machine (but too large & heavy to be routinely used "on the road" as they say.) The refurbished one I got had a heavy battery --not as specified. Also, battery life is ridiculously short (<3 hours instead of the original >6) and some of the mouse commands, most important for me (2-finger right click) are not functioning. Otherwise, fine. Buying here would be OK for someone with the time to check, birddog, insist on replacements, etc. Life is hard since one cannot anymore look at things in a shop.
