I was dealing with a 5 year old, 17" laptop with waning battery, that was overall not performing well, even though the specs seemed comparable to what was new on the market. And while I loved the larger screen, it was heavy and too large for travel, spilling out of my travel tote, and hurting my back to carry. Also, my 3 year old iPad was now too little memory for updates and was slowing down in performance as well. This smaller, lighter computer with an added tablet form, with great battery life, and loads of excellent specs turned out to be the ideal solution. It's small and light enough to carry around the house and use on the sofa and in bed in place of my iPad, and it's so easy to travel with. I thought I'd be disappointed in the screen size and figured eventually I'll add a larger monitor, but the newer computers have a display that goes to the edges, and its such a nice display that I don't think I'll need the monitor. One negative, the casing is slick and slippery, so I'd recommend a case/cover when its moving around the house, because even sitting with it on my lap on the sofa it slips when my dog jumps up next to me or can slip off your lap. I found a good one and ended up keeping on all the time so I can grab and go. Love all the upgrades, speed and co-pilot / Ai. This computer turned out to be the perfect solution to everything I was looking for.
