Took some time to get used to but after awhile I love it. I love the touch screen and the picture quality. Sometimes it's too sensitive and automatically zooms my page too much and I have to stop and return to normal view

One Month of ownership Pro Price drop from my original purchase of $1049 to $849, I just love the laptop even more! Still Love the 2 n 1 design and how the hinge is made, very durable. Metal Body - Has resisted scratches well and normal use. Dedicated Video card - All my games, such as TSW, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, CAD programs have preformed very well! Black lit keyboard is perfect, key travel is good Wakes up from hibernation every time, with no issues. Cons: 12 GB of Memory is a fair amount, however, I opened it up, did not see a place to add memory, so that is a bummer! power supply is huge, will take up more spots that it should on a power strip. Still think that this Laptop should have SSD instead of a 5400 HDD Still have the annoying small noise, again it's not a deal breaker

    Problems with Drivers and Hinge

I had this laptop for about a week and I had to return it because I was already having issues on a brand new laptop! Some of the games I played would crash because of a drivers issue. Then the plastic part of the display was already starting to separate. I returned. Maybe you won't have problems like I did, and if you didn't, this would be a good price for the laptop that you get.

I recommend a Lenovo yoga pro3 to my friends in bestbuy two weeks later after I got my laptop, and my screen got broken another two weeks later. Now I just hope it won't happened on my friend's computer.

I am enjoying it so far. Just a few minor gripes but nothing to make me regret the purchase. Its hard to pass up the specs in this price range. I read some bad reviews of the screen quality and I can somewhat see where they are coming from but you can go into the Intel control panel and make adjustment that much improves the default settings. After that I was content. Maybe the screen is the trade off for the price. As far as performance I am completely satisfied. It has come bloatware but a few of the programs are useful and you can easily clean out the rest or do a clean install of the OS. Bottom line its hard to find a laptop that performs with these specs for this price range. Its a good deal. Oh and the games I have played have all been smooth at high setting. Not a heavy gamer but for me its great. I am playing GTAV at the moment and Piillars of Eternity. I mainly use it for work and school. I do a lot of Photoshop and video editing. Hope this helps.

Do not buy, totally waste of money

I bought this one in late 2015, it is a total waste of money. It can't even last for 2 years. The first year in, I experienced difficulty in opening the laptop because of the joint between the screen and the base, it made cracking noises. And the frequency of black frozen screen with multi colors twitching is getting higher and higher. Now I can't close the laptop anymore since the screen will pop out if I do. After doing some research, I found out that I'm not the only one experiencing these problems. Do not buy if u don't want to waste your money.

Very Fast Very light for a gaming Laptop

Pros: Very Fast, nice GPU (not the best, but very good). Very attractive brushed metal and matte design. Keyboard is great. Screen is very crisp with good viewing angles and uses touch. The main vent is built into the inside of the hinge, so you never block it with your lap or when is on the bed. Doesn't get very hot. Very Light and thin for a gaming Laptop. Runs almost everything I threw at it. Cons: screen is very glossy. The brushed metal case gets lots of fingerprints. The back lit keyboard only comes in red (if you like red of course then that's a pro). Comes with 8 gigs of ram, but I'm not sure if it's upgradeable. The track pad is not as responsive when doing multi-finger scrolling and the buttons are kinda stiff. I mainly use a gaming mouse, so not a huge deal for me. Some features of Windows 10 don't work correctly. Namely Cortana, but that's not a deal breaker since it came with Dragon assistant and I mostly use Google Now is chrome, so plenty of voice control/search options. Overall I'm very happy with this machine. Great design, fairly powerful, and very mobile (lightweight). Definitely room for improvement, but this machine is right up there with the Asus and Msi rigs, but at least a couple hundred dollars less.

Okay, so I was looking for a laptop that wasn't expensive for some gaming. I'm just a young boy and I didn't have a fortune to spend on a laptop, and I found this. I looked at so many reviews and saw that this laptop was killer, and indeed it is. Is it a super good gaming laptop for it price and what it offers, excellent touchscreen display with perfect viewing angles, precise keyboard with numeric pad, bright red keyboard backlighting and overall a great performance (except for the 5400 RPM hard drive, which can be changed for an SSD for a couple of bucks). The only thing that annoys me about the laptop is the trackpad, which I don't really use because I bought a mouse.

Speed, graphics and sound make games come alive. Would recommend this computer for anything from gaming, business, school, programming and everyday web browsing. Bought this reconditioned by the Geek Squad, updated to Windows 10 and was ready to go. No problems or difficulty getting started. Would give it 5-stars if it hadn't been scratched, but couldn't pass up the bargain price.

I bought this computer for my son who is being deployed soon. He says it's perfect for his needs. He likes to play games and this computer was much less expensive than the gaming computers I was looking at. I was happy to find such a good laptop at such a good price!

My son really wanted the Alienware laptop but the specs on this laptop was so much better. AND it was a lot less expensive AND it was TOUCHSCREEN. I was disappointed that the latest i7 was not available on any of the gaming laptops, but I was happy that the graphics card in this laptop was the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics with 2GB dedicated video memory. Again not going to beat a desktop, but plenty sufficient to get the job done on the road, since this was for my US Army son it was perfect. Comes with an external DVD player (You may want to get a external bluray)

Purchasing a certified returned item has its risks

My daughter saved for two years to make this purchase. At 14 years old she did her due diligence and research and decided on the laptop. Went to Best Buy and found it discounted with a few scratches. Unfortunately when she turned it on when we got home to use it she immediately got a hardware error. Although we turned the laptop on at the store, she didn't find the error until she actually logged on to it. John Carpenter of Geek Squad was phenomenal in assisting us expediting the return to Lenovo for the repair. This will be used mainly for High School homework and projects with of course gaming as well. Good price but excellent customer service when we needed it.

This is our first venture into the Lenovo world. I used to work at Best Buy and always recommended Lenovo to all sorts of customers. Business, school or home? They had something for everyone. Except gaming. I didn't realize they were trying to hit that market as well. But like all their products before, the quality was amazing. Pro: it's a gaming laptop, so you can pretty much throw anything at it and it'll play it. It's also light and easy to carry. Battery is great if you're casually browsing online. The red light up keys are a nice touch. Especially if you use it in bed like I do. Cons: I was told it had wifi connectivity issues before I bought but I took the risk. Low and behold, I'm experiencing these issues. The wifi just goes out after a while. Sometimes it'll stay on all day as well, so I tend to hardwire when I plan on gaming online. This model was released during the windows 8 days and since it's Windows 10 upgrade, some of the hardware don't work too well. This leads to my next con, support. It's hard to find software updates for this model laptop on lenovos site. Even their "find my machine" program is unable to detect what kind of laptop I have. Which is frustrating because I feel like the wifi issue could be solved with a simple update.

Good specs for the price, better than most competitors I could find. Exterior design is very cool looking, though the lid does smudge pretty easily. Only real downside noted was that the maximum screen brightness was not as bright or vibrant as you might be able to find on other laptops. Otherwise it is a fast laptop, relatively lightweight, and runs most newer games.

Had this laptop for a few months now and performance is excellent. Processor speed and graphics quality is very good. Has the 4th generation i7 chip. Touchscreen makes it convenient to navigate. Upgraded to Windows 10 without issues. Also, must mention that this was an Open-Box /Geek squad certified item but no complaints about that either.

i have been using this laptop for about 3 months now and have had no problems with it. It came with Windows 8 and installed Windows 10 with no issues. I've been using it for a lot of photoshop and gaming, runs everything super quick and with little to no lag. It's literally like using a portable desktop. The touchscreen works fine, the keyboard feels nice and is spaced out nicely. The finish on the outside and inside of the laptop both look and feel very nice, however they both can leave fingerprints easily. If I had to pick one bad thing about this laptop, and it's not even that bad at for all of the power this thing has, is that it comes with a 5,400 RPM hard drive and the battery life isn't that long (which is to be expected). Overal I am very happy and pleased with this laptop and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming/powerhouse laptop.
