Customers are saying

Customers admire the Yoga 2 2-in-1 laptop for its lightweight design, touchscreen capabilities, and extended battery life. Many users appreciate the reasonable price point and find it to be an excellent product overall. While some customers have concerns about the limited storage space and the Windows 8 operating system, these drawbacks do not overshadow the positive aspects of the laptop.

I really like my Lenovo. It is small, lightweight, and easy to use. I like the flexable shape and how I can even use it with ease at the steering wheel of my car when parked in between work on the go. The touch screen is wonderful and intuitive. Sure beats the trac ball I was used to using! The built in cloud storage is small and fills up quickly. Plan on upgrading the cloud or buy external hard drives.

We got this laptop for my daughter who just left for college. She loves it! Says it does everything she wanted plus!!! The big reason she wanted it was for the versatility and the size. Carrying this laptop around campus is a breeze. The added bonus of watching her NetFlix shows made it even better!

I purchased this laptop for my wife to replace her 7 year old bulky tank of a laptop. This 11in model is perfect for her to use in bed, to use on the couch, to use at a desk, and even fold into 'tent' mode when she starts cooking. Not to mention that it fits nicely in her purse and is light enough to not break her back. She especially likes that one. She loves folding it to use in tablet mode and touching it with her fingers. (She keeps touching my old laptops screen because she forgets it is standard non-touch.) The reason I did not give it 5 stars which it almost deserves is because of the fact that it has Windows 8.1 on it. Windows 10 will give it more justice and compatibility. I have had to wade through the bloatware that Lenovo loads up on their machines. Not to mention the removal of SuperFish, the biggest Lenovo flop of them all. I was also disappointed to find out that the onboard WiFi only had 2.5ghz Wireless-N. Which means it doesn't support the larger band and faster speed. This was disappointing enough. Also, be weary of the "128gb SSD". Dont get me wrong, SSD is the best thing to happen to computers in a long time, but as soon as you purchase it 40gb is dedicated to the OS, the Recovery partition and Lenovo's bloatware. I was able to get some of it back after removing bloatware, but still not enough. When Windows 10 comes out, I will be reformatting the computer and installing it fresh. This should fix most issues. Other than that, I highly recommend purchasing this for yourself, or a loved one.

Light Snappy enough for every day use Battery lasts 4-6 hours (4 hours on Netflix streaming if you are not too far away from the router and brightness in the middle) which is pretty good for this size and weight. Speakers are descent for size. Resolution of the screen is acceptable (unless you look at it really close which you will if you used as tablet). Screen goes really dim which I like for those insomnia nights. However, its not bright enough for outdoor rooms. The only other thing I don't like is the lack of backlit keyboard.

I was looking for a smaller, nimble laptop for travel that was light, fast and have full laptop functionality. This was a great price and a great product. The sound is great for watching movies and listening to music, and I really like the touch screen. Overall a great buy. Did not give it 5 stars because I made the mistake of buying an open box product and the volume key on the side does not work. Love the ability to use it as a tablet or in stand mode. I use it this way more than I thought I would.

I bought this laptop at the suggestion of an incredibly knowledgeable associate. My main purpose for buying it was for college, but it is an all around awesome computer for almost anything. Although this computer is not the best choice for gaming, I have used it for online gaming and it does just fine. To sum up the rest: Pros: Great lightweight yet multifunctional computer for someone who needs portability, great battery life, incredibly fast startup and shutdown thanks to ssd, tablet feature offers great alternative to carrying college books. Cons: have to purchase external hard drive for extra storage, smaller keyboard takes getting used to. All in all, this is a great "on the go" computer that sacrifices a little to get more out of what there is. For now I strongly recommend this computer, and will come to update my review in a few months once I see how it does with Windows 10.

I researched this computer for a long time before I bought it, like 2 months. Went back and forth between the MacBook Air. I wanted lightweight and able to do all the powerpoints and processing that I needed along with a computer to watch movies and do other things at home. Found all that in this computer. I have had it for a month and no issues at all. I can put it in my bag and not even feel it, the same weight or lighter than my iPad. Windows 8.1 took a little bit getting use to, but super excited about free upgrade to windows 10. Also have found the core i5 to be plenty fast for all my multitasking needs! Great computer for the price and so glad I purchased it! Great 5 year investment!

Good product overall - very light/portable, good battery life. However disappointed by speed of computer out of the box based on product advertisement of "SSD being much faster and more responsive than standard HD memory". Computer is not slow just not as lightning fast as I was given the impression it would be. I did not pay for Geek Squad to clean up preinstalled programs that might be lagging computer. I would probably recommend that if you are going to purchase this macine.

This Yoga 11 is a great little laptop/tablet 2 in 1. Very responsive and very portable. I'm on the road a lot for work and it's very handy while traveling. Boot time is very fast and battery life is great. Very easy to use in the car, while stopped of course, to access my company's client management application and the boot time allows for the Yoga to be shut down in between uses to further conserve battery life. I like the larger track pad as well. My wife has a Surface 3 with the detachable keyboard and the track pad is very small, at least for me. I use the Yoga in laptop mode almost exclusively, so the larger track pad is a benefit. If you are going to use it in tablet mode more than laptop mode, the keyboard keys lock when in tablet mode so you're not inadvertently hitting keys while holding it. The only recommendation I would have is pay the extra for the largest SSD hard drive you can afford. I skimped a little and purchased the 128GB version and will purchase a larger replacement hard drive very soon. I don't like having to worry about storage management or rely on cloud storage for all my files. Overall this is a great little laptop and I would highly recommend it.

I needed a versatile and lightweight laptop as I was beginning graduate school. My old laptop worked fine and I had it for over 6 years but I needed something lighter and smaller. My Lenovo Yoga 2 was the perfect choice! The very knowledgeable staff pointed me in the right direction and helped my to apply for a BestBuy credit card, which I would highly suggest applying for. No interest if you pay it off in a year! Love love love my new laptop which is extremely versatile with it's touchscreen feature.

I travel quite a bit every month and had gotte tired of lugging around my older laptop. I researched preety much all the alternatives, and found tht this equipment was the best suited for my needs: lightweight, extremely portable, fast, easy to handle. It has become my choice for all my computing needs above my desktops and older laptops

For the most part I love this two-in-one Lenovo. I needed a real computer I can use for everything, including work when I am out of the office. A tablet wouldn't work for that but I really wanted something fairly small and especially LIGHT. I got sick of carrying a full-sized laptop around airports along with luggage and all - too old for all that baggage now. This Lenovo really fits the bill, it's so light, yet does everything a full size computer can do - and it folds into tablet mode, great for watching videos. It will flip into any configuration you could want. The screen is solid. The screens that come off tend to have problems, but this flips back completely and the keyboard is disabled when you do so, so there are no issues there. My one complaint is the touch screen doesn't seem sensitive enough, making it a little difficult to use, so I use a wireless mouse more than I would like. Maybe I just have cold hands or something. But my old Kindle Fire (first model made) has better touch response.

I bought this computer originally so I, a Mac user, could relearn Windows. The more I use it, the more I like it. Not only is it a beautifully designed machine, it's nice to use. It can be used as a laptop or a tablet. It has a touch screen, and because it's a yoga computer, the keyboard can be put in positions of varying degrees, depending on what you want to do. I love its very thin design and that its Solid State drive makes it lightening fast. The Solid State drive has no moving parts, so I don't have to worry about the drive wearing out. It also holds its battery charge for about 8 to 10 hours, depending on usage. It's a great little computer and I'm happy I chose it.

I love this laptop! It's light, quiet, fast, and stylish. The touch screen is a great amenity, and the tablet features (split screen, pinch zoom, swipe to close) make working on the laptop that much easier. It's the best of both worlds! My only complaint: Battery life is so-so. It's not terrible, but it most definitely could be better. When you buy the laptop, it comes with mountains of random bloatware. I had to have Geek Squad delete a bunch of stuff because it was killing my battery, even when in sleep mode. Now I get a few hours out of it, which is great for when I'm out and about; but isn't great if I need to do a lot of work or presentations (or Netflix). Make sure you Keep your charger with you!

This laptop is on SSD drive (meaning it would turn on instantly as soon as you push the power button). This also turns in to a touch screen tablet so its perfect for business meetings and travel. Its VERY light and compact. Its a perfect mix of tablet and windows laptop. Only drawback is that the screen is small so you may need a docking station with larger screen at your workstation if you are going to be using this laptop. I dont use one but I wouldnt mind a larger screen.

Super thin and light, easy to take to work. The battery is decent at about 3-4 hrs with heavy use. I really like the folding feature that turns it into a tablet. Keyboard takes some getting used to because the keys are shallow, but overall great laptop and a good deal. The only issue could be the small drive size but with external drives available for lower prices now it shouldn't be a problem but something to consider if you do not want to carry multiple items.

I love the Lenovo Yoga 2 2-n-1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop. It's so lightweight compared to my previous Lenovo laptop. Despite it's size it's easy to read and work with. Having the ability to move around with just a touch to the screen makes things so much easier. The keyboard is smaller than I'm used to, but it's not posed any problems. If you're looking for a lightweight, compact, easy to read and use laptop/tablet, I highly recommend this one.
