This is the second Lenovo I have purchased, and I have enjoyed both. Very easy transition from laptop to tablet. Nice touch for keyboard typing.

Love how compact and light weight it is. Great for personal, business and school. Fits nicely in my purse. Able to do everything and if I get tired using it as a laptop, I can flip it no problem and use it as an ipad. Also, the touch screen features makes it easier.

Form Factor is Handy, performance eh...

The 2 in one form factor is nice, the weight is good, the keyboard feels a bit flimsy. Windows 10 seems a little resource intensive for the processor. The mechanical hard drive slows it down some too. Battery lasts about 5 hours doing basic web surfing and e-mail. If I had it to do over again I would spend a few bucks more and buy the i3 processor version, with a solid state drive.

    Just what I wanted

I have a large 17-inch Toshiba I love. It's just too big to carry around all the time. I wanted a smaller 2-in-1 machine and found this. I'm 90% happy with it. It's light, great battery life, easy to read screen, and it woks well as a table or a laptop. Where I would fault it is processor speed and the touchpad is VERY sensitive. I knew it was a Pentium i3 so I can't fault it. (I wanted an i5, but was too cheap to pay that much.) The touchpad is more like a almost-touchpad meaning you don't have to actually be touching it and it "senses" two finger actions. I will have my thumb over one of the two bottom buttons and move the mouse with a finger and it will enlarge or reduce the screen as if I were doing the expand or contract motions on the screen. (I would normally zoom in or zoom out using the touch screen - that would be my preference. The touchpad does the same action which is a little irksome.) Would I buy this machine again? Probably. With a Pentium i5 or i7, no question, Yes.

I purchased this laptop to take with me on a recent out of town trip for work. I wanted something small, lightweight yet fully functional. This laptop has fulfilled that need. I was able to pack it in my backpack of my carry on and I couldn't even tell it was there. It does not come with the office suite of software so you will have to purchase this software. I had an extra license for Office 365 so I downloaded everything via on line. It took a couple of hours to do all the updates and get all the software downloaded. The computer is very responsive and the touchscreen is great with Windows 10. Had on older laptop with Windows 8 that was not touchscreen and it was the worst combination. Don't be misled into thinking this small computer is as fast as a full size laptop or desktop as those have much faster processors, but this one does a very good job at what is was designed for. It fills the need as fully functional laptop while being still being small, compact and easy to carry with you.

This was the best laptop purchase that I have made in quite some time. I have had a Dell and HP and had problems with them from the start. I have been enjoying the features of this laptop...i can fold it easily, not have to use the mousepad, and it's a nice size. The size makes it easy to transport which is great for traveling.

It's great having the touch screen when explorer isn't as responsive. The biggest gripe with this machine is the speed. It feels like it takes forever. Of course, my other machine is a Macbook Air... I probably should have gone with the tablet version.

Well as windows 10 goes this is ok. Once you get around the tiles and add the shell ver. 11 on this to run it like windows 7 then it's easier to operate. This is a nice system as it has 4 cores and the full Intel processor not the M3 proc that's slower. The 8 gigs of ram is nice but we cant upgrade the device due to the ram is soldered on to the board and your at the max ram. other then that CPU and ram is sufficient for most of our programs needed on this system. the light weight makes for ease of travel and style is nice. If I were to do this all over again I would have gone with the SSD drive and not the unit that has the 5400 Rpm drive as this unit takes about 2 minutes to boot from power up to windows login and then clicking on MS word. ouch!! if not for this I would have given this a 5 star rating. if you want a turtle then go with the non-SSD if you want fast and reconceive then go with the SSD. in the long run it's cheaper then ordering a new HD that fits the 5400 RPM drive as this system will not take a standard SATA or Micro SATA drive, it's proprietary for the system.

This is a very convenient laptop. I purchased one for my brother for college and because it was so light and the processing speed was so fast. I had to purchase one for myself. It's versatile and I highly recommend it.

Very handy, turns into a tablet, works perfectly with Windows 10. I set it up in minutes, so all of that was good. Even having a quad core processor, it is a bit slow when one wants to do simple design in Microsoft Publisher, for instance. Love the size, love the design, but some more speed would be appreciated.

I went into best buy to look at the hp's that's what I usually stick to. But the sales associate quickly changed my mind. He took me through all the different laptops and told me about all of them and said he would give me time to think about it. I ended up choosing the Lenovo yoga and I'm glad I did. I absolutely love it. Its very easy to use, lightweight and compact. I love the very slim build, it is so cute. It runs very quickly. I love that it can turn into a tablet when I want it to and disable the keyboard from working. This is one of the best laptops I've owned. Love it

The price was great, but after just a couple of months use, we are disappointed at the speed, comparing it to the faster machines we use at work. We love the windows 10 and everything has been pretty much flawless; except we have to disable the firewall everytime a program like Turbotax needs to update. Other than that, nocomplaints.

I like the light weight, it's comparable in price with an IPad , but gives you much more capabilities, with the size and HDMI port you and use it as home entertainment to watch movies on your TV, then carry it with you to keep connected. and working on the road. also very quiet (can't notice the fan or HDD at all), great sound for the size. CONS: no Ethernet port (WiFi only) will buy a USB dongle for it.

It's a good smaller computer/tablet for the price. Battery life is a little shorter than I'd like but, I guess for the price it can't be beat. Mine is used in my garage for tune downloads for my car or for basic information needed. It's light weight and can be carried around easily. All in all a decent basic computer for the price.

Nice laptop for the price -- was hesitant because of the Pentium chip, but had to stick within a certain budget -- it actually performs well -- 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB HDD are nice specs for the size -- only complaint is it does have a fairly slow boot up time -- and the keyboard is so tiny (it is an 11") that it's easy to miss keys -- but works great for a kid -- plus the touch enabled screen, and the ability to flip the screen to convert it to a tablet is nice, especially for the price

The Lenovo Yoga 2 has become my go-to device for most of my computing needs. I have tablets, iPhone and desktops but this machine handles 98% of my computing requirements. I have not done any heavy duty photo retouching or video editing so I can not comment on it's performance in these areas. I can say that it has handled all of my MS Office and investment transactions with ease.

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter but I set it up and used it for the first month so I could be familiar with it to teach her. She really didn't need much teaching. Finding the turn it on button took more than anything. It is on the right side. I will give you the negatives first. Not backlit. I knew this but I didn't think it would matter but it did . One night she wanted to use it in bed and there was no lamp nearby. She said I should get her one of those miner's helmet lights. It could use another usb port too. Now the good it. It is easy to use. I had issues at first bu they were windows 10. The computer does keep asking for a password even though i told it not to. It worked for like 20 starts then asked for it again. I changed it and same thing. I gave up. While the screen is small it is large enough to write scripts etc as she uses it for. Very light weight which considering it is for a 9 year old is awesome. It is a little difficult to get it open if you don't have nail to get in the small space between the covers. I have the same issue with my New HP envy. The speed of operation is great. She wizzed through websites. Sound is excellent. Overall a great small laptop.

It's a little difficult to identify if the few problems I've had are from the Yoga 2 or Windows 10. So far I would say more from Windows 10. However, the Yoga 2 does seem to be a little slower than I supposed it would be. I still rate it in the good category for speed though.
