    Fabulous laptop, fun to use

I bought this laptop for my son primarily for school work. It's been a very reliable laptop performing well. The touchscreen is responsive and the display is crisp and bright. The laptop is relatively light and holds a charge well. He doesn't use the fold over as a tablet feature often but when he does it works great. My older son later bought this model too based primarily on raves reviews from his younger brother. This laptop isn't cheap but it delivers good value for the money.

There are many things I like about the Yoga 2. I like that the touch screen is very responsive and tablet mode works like a charm. There is one issue that keeps it from getting five stars. Once I put my headphones into the headphone jack, I am no longer able to have sound play out of the speakers.

I've had my Lenovo yoga 2 pro for a month now and I love it. Very light but still sturdy (I am a grad student and lug it around a lot). I especially love the tent feature, useful for referencing recipes when cooking and freeing up lots of counter space. Windows 8 is terrible, but I expect I will adjust eventually, and that isn't really a complaint with the device itself.

Easy to use. Light. Fast. Do wish it had a stylus for the touch screen.

I needed a "work horse" laptop to use at home, in the office and on business trips. This does not disappoint. It is lightweight but still feels substantial. The battery life is more than adequate. I love that I can convert it from laptop to tablet when needed. The processor is lightening fast. I use it about 5-6 hours a day and have absolutely no complaints so far!

I bought this product for my wife. She has fallen in love with it. She finds it so easy to use the touch screen that when she uses my Apple I find her touching the screen and get off my computer and uses her Yoga 2 Pro.

I bought this to replace my Mac book pro. I was tired of the Mac OS and wanted to get some more bells and whistles for my money. This did it! The apps/programs available are amazing. I thoroughly enjoy the touch screen option both in laptop and in tablet mode. This is one of the coolest laptops I've ever owned.. And I'm getting ready to sell my iPad.. No more traveling with a laptop, iPad, and iPhone. I've got my Yoga and iPhone and that's enough!

Great laptop so far (1 month old) The reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars, As a laptop on your lap it gets hot,You have to change some settings to get the flickering screen to stop and the yellowish color fix. Love the lightning fast start up, screen res , and how light it is.

Orignially was looking at other laptops but notice the mouse/touchscreen would freeze up when switching from tablet to laptop mode. That has never happen with the Yoga! Went with the I7 processor and the performance has been outstanding! It's been about a month and I have no complaints so far.

Best Ultrabook on the Market for a Fair Price

This is now the second one of these ultrabooks that I've purchased. The first was for me, and this was for a co-worker. You simply cannot beat the features of this ultrabook for the price. Even if you don't care about the tablet mode (like me), this is one mean little laptop. It packs a powerful i7, a screaming 256GB SSD, touch screen, and a sweet retina screen. The illuminated keyboard is fantastic for working in dark equipment rooms, or on an airplane. This laptop is also as light as a macbook air and gets comparable battery life. It charges very fast also. Highly recommended!

I love everything about the Lenovo Yoga 2. I use three of the four positions regularly. In its tablet form, it's a bit heavy, but as a laptop it's light (3 lbs?). I love the keyboard--I left my previous Toshiba because I was having some trouble with its keyboard, so that really matters to me. And the screen is killer. One important note: many of the programs that are important for me (in my case, some journal software, as well as Scrivener and a couple others) can't handle the super high resolution. But I cut the resolution in half (1600 x 900) and everything looks great. And that resolution is plenty crisp. I've bought a lot of computers over the years. I was a little nervous paying the extra few hundred on this one. But I have zero buyer's remorse, and I recommend it unreservedly.

I love my new Lenovo laptop. I wanted something smaller than my Dell Inspiron. We had been Dell customers for many years and owned 3 Dells at the present time. I still love the Dell and continue to use one, in addition to giving one to a grandson for school I was looking for something different for myself and researched for a long time to finally decide on the Lenovo. I am very happy with my purchase and love using it every day.

I was looking for a laptop when I bought this and it is very versatile. I like that its a tablet/laptop and the feel of it is very nice. Picture quality is better then normal. Good for what I use it for but felt a bit pricey for not having that much memory/hard drive.

I really liked this laptop. It is very fast, light weighted and easy to use. But there is a problem about heating. It is not very comfortable using this laptop on your lap. In my daily life I don't prefer using laptop on my lap so this is not a problem for me. Before I didn't use Lenovo brand so I checked most of the laptops with same specifications but this is the cheapest one. Now I am very happy to choosing this laptop.

So far I really like this PC, the boot up time is really fast, the touch screen works great, the tablet mode works great and windows 8 runs well with updates having minimal impact. Windows 8 does take some time getting used to versus windows 7 but once there it offers some pretty nice flexibility. Our household has an IMAC, Macbook Pro, IPAD and this PC; I think this is the best computer of them all. Once I get a few applications to display/size correctly (larger) I will be 99.9% satisfied. The only other small issue is the battery life could be better but I knew that before purchasing, a limitation I accept for an extremely light weight PC.

    Keyboard was problematic: returned it

I loved the laptop except the fact that the keyboard was getting stuck every 10-15 minutes.Basically, it was going to the tablet mode (when the keyboard gets deactivated) without any reason. I got a solution online that I need to fold the laptop to the tablet mode and then bring it back and it was working in that way. But the solution didn't look practical, so returned the laptop. I still think that it is a good laptop as long as you don't get a defective piece. It is very lightweight and fast (thanks to i7 and ssd). It takes some time to get used to windows 8.1, but it should be fine.
