I got this laptop after saving for a long time. The only thing I would say is that sometimes the screen acts like 100 fingers are touching it, causing the computer to do a whole bunch of things you don't want it to (opening programs, right clicking, etc.). All you have to do is close the laptop, wait a couple of seconds, and open it again.

I got this for my 80 year old father beacause he wanted to replace his desktop but could not decide on a tablet or a laptop. He tells he loves but is still getting used to windows 8 ( now he is looking forward to windows 10). This device does everything he wants while he sits in his favorite chair. It has power to spare so he is very happy.

Advanced high definition screen and processor make speeds very fast. Convenient having the ability to utilize as tablet. Not a huge fan of the mouse pad built into the device. No separate buttons to click gets annoying.

After having my other Lenovo laptop junked by geek squad, I decided to pay extra and get this model. No complaints so far. Great balance of performance and battery life

I am very happy with the solid state drive. It's much smaller than I am used to, but it's quick! I am making the switch for all of our machines to Lenovo because we have all been disappointed in the Toshibas.

Ok Ultrabook - rough experience to start with.

Let me preface this with some info that I typically only give reviews once I’ve used a product for about 60 days. Purchased this unit in late March, after reading a number of trade magazine articles on upcoming ultra-book releases. I’ve been transitioning away from the more traditional laptop form-factor over the last year to lighten my load. But it felt like I might have jumped in a little too early in the product life-cycle for this unit. I used a number of Lenovo notebooks over the last 15 years with very limited problems. I typically upgrade every 2-3 years so I have had much experience with Lenovo. This Yoga 3 14 is the first that gave me problems in the first 60 days. After just 33 days of use, I began to experience power-on problems – failure to POST. It was intermittent at first, but progressed quickly to not booting at all by the end of the day. If I had just been another 3 days earlier I would have returned the unit to the store, but here I was stuck with it. After some delays in trying to get local support from Lenovo (I was traveling at the time), I ended up sending the unit to the TX depot for repair. Long story short, the Yoga had a system board failure and the part was on back order. It was nearly 6 full weeks gone for repair. Didn’t lose any data of apps upon return so that made it a bit easier to deal with. Since the repair, I find myself not totally trusting this unit. I back up all my files to separate media / cloud daily now, whereas I used to just deal with it on a end-of-week schedule. It’s not a bad ultra-book, but my confidence was shaken. The display is perfect sized, and a nice transition down from 15.6” notebooks. I hardly notice the change any longer. It’s taken a while to get used to the touchpad though, sometimes difficult to get a right-click on many objects. I was considering getting another Lenovo ultra-book for my son heading off to college in the fall, perhaps from the Yoga 3 Pro family, but changed my mind after this experience. We went with an HP Spectre 360 for him instead. Battery life (I know that is very subjective) and keyboard preferences were the primary reasons (beyond our perceived reliability of course)... I realize this Yoga 3 - 14 is a mid-priced laptop at $899, but I certainly expected much better performance, especially in the short term. Should have went with the Yoga 3 Pro instead.

The Lenovo laptop is great. The laptop meets all the standards needed for my college and my personal standards as well. The build of the laptop is sturdy, even around the hinges. The only bad thing is, there is no input for a CD or a DVD. I ended up buying an external drive for my laptop though.

This laptop is awesome. There is only one problem. There is ghost print on the laptop. It only happens when the screens turns off or goes to sleep and then you wake it up and randomly ghost touchscreen all over the screen. They need to fix this issues. Otherwise this laptop is awesome.

I purchase this as an open box item and could not believe the deal. The 2 in 1 was marked down over $400 from retail. I was looking for a slim lightweight laptop and this 14 in fit the bill to a tee. The only issues that I have found with it was the touch screen was not working probably, but I believe that may have been the reason for the serious discount so I simply turned it off. The other issue is that the touch pad is a little larger than on my last laptop and even with the sensitive turned way down I still hit it while typing causing the cursor to jump on the page.
